Work permit, visa end today. Already in KL. want to return to bkk as tourist.

I flew from utapao to KL yesterday 14th. my passport was stamped departed. British. After working in phuket for 7 years. I am now retired at 68. I have a flight back too bkk, this thursday; business class on tg. I wish to stay for 28 days. Have hotel reservation and about to book emirates to london for september 14. Will they allow me 30 days as a tourist? Thanx.

You will get a 30 day visa exempt entry without a problem.

Can I ask the OP to pay attention to the 'welcome to Thailand' video they play prior to landing and when they get to the immigration procedures bit, see if they specifically mention that holders of 'long-term' visas can use the Fast Track arrival facilities.

Arriving TG Business Class - just show yr boarding card to go through Fast Track immigration. Looking at the queues at BKK recently, this facility will be a real bonus.
