The owners report the cost of damages at around 50,000 Baht

A Mexican restaurant, Coyote, caught fire late this morning. The restaurant owner, Matthew Warton, said the cause of the fire is believed to be an electric shortcircuit from the air-conditioning system. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties reported.

The second storey of the 4-storey Mexican restaurant, located on Thaweewong Road in Patong could be seen on fire from the street. Fire fighters took 20 minutes to control the blaze. The owners report the cost of damages at around 50,000 Baht.

I also always get my bum on fire the next day, after a meal in a mexican chili restaurant!

Note to photographer - move camera right to take the subject photo.

Someone make a mistake with the Mexican fire dance?

Was two Fire water tankers outside there 8am this morning when I walked passed, no signs of any smoke or anything then, one left just later heading back to station up beach rd

He would have, but a nearby tuk-tuk driver said he would have to pay to take the correct photo, or his camera would be broken.

Sometimes Thai Food can also do same.

Only 50,000 baht in damages - seems like pretty much a non-event, then.
