Police kicked my brother when he went in to complain about attack, claims brother

Tnews showed a video of an altercation at a police station in Roi-Et where a man claimed that his brother was kicked by a policeman.

The poster of the clip said that earlier there had been a fight in which he claimed that his brother had been hit in the head four times by the driver of a bus belonging to Prayat Tour.

The victim - bare chested and appearing drunk - then went to a police station nearby.

Though not caught on tape the younger brother of the man claimed that a policeman came out of the station and kicked his brother in the body.

The video shows them angrily pointing and asking why did that.

The poster claimed that in making a report he wanted the name of the cop put down in writing but no one seemed to know his name.

He asked many cops at the station what his name was but no one seemed to know, he claimed.

"Why did he kick him? Why don't they help the public?", he complained.

Netizens reserved judgment on the incident as police were yet to comment from their side of the story.

Tnews just reported the claims with no attempt to present the police version of events.

Nobody knows the full extent of the case and how the chap was behaving inside the precinct.

If his attitude was threathning or vindictive, it is somwhat understandable that the officer had to calm down the fellow with a good leg chop!

It isn't a good idea anywhere in the world to go to a police station drunk, bare chested and emotionaly outraged. He probably deserved a good kicking as well as the assault by the bus driver.

nobody in the police station knew the name if the cop working there? was he a fake cop or just visiting from another precinct?

actually i have witnessed this at another police station.. the cop refused to give his name for a report even a furure inquiry and noone seemed to be able to help us with his name...

'Not entirely sure what happened here, but there are just some countries where you're on your own.  Expecting help from the local police is as likely to make things worse as it is to make them better.  IF for whatever reason you can't keep yourself out of trouble in such places, you need to reassess your being there.

Or maybe we need some real cops who do their job if we pay them?....a special department who can speak english as well and of course are not corrupt.

Thai justice. Dont make a cop have to get off his lazy arse unless of course to collect the takings.

They have runners for that. Seen it happen!

Not a big fan of the police here but going to a police station drunk and angry, what the hell did this idiot think would happen?
