I can literally sit next room and wank all day. Of course it's inefficient to wait all day till my girl is back from her salon. Lets say a S9 Miner goes offline at 10am, i dont wait till 9pm till she comes back, so i restart the Miner. This would be propably the illegal working, right?

To cut a long example short, I know a guy who stayed in Thailand a long time + had permission to stay as long as he wanted but no visa for working, owned a hotel with bar below everything in tgf name, moved his elderley mother out to Thailand also.... One day some thais came to fix the aircon when bar closed and he let them inside and was sitting at the bar watching with them working on the ac in the background..... Cops turned up, frog marched him to airport, deported and blacklisted him so he cannot even buy a plane ticket in his home country now.... Last I heard he was wondering what to do about his elderley mother left behind in Thailand as he had no funds to bring her home.

Imagine if the Thais interpret what you're doing as some kind of fraud or even money laundering....considering the numbers involved.

I recall that story aproximately 10 months ago geezer was Swiss he was in Pattaya or phuket the worst of it being his elderly mother homeless but the long and short of that is was very likely swindled and I doubt this guys wife will know what to do to keep the bitcpons rolling in so his situation should not be compared but I'd be concerned about the lecce bill. Geezers making 5000 us to 15000 us a month but gets a 225k baht lecce bill every month. I'd be looking at some voltaic energy shiiit wirh a bill like that. U hear it's the power consumption that kills BC and this guy confirms it so how do you maximise it?

This could start a dangerous trend. On ThaiFriendly girls will be asking how many CPU s you have and how many BitCoins you can provide to her mom for SinSod.

Compared to your past where they asked you how many credit cards you owned. Gold caaaard kha?

i think so. But then the police, my enemies or the landlord will say that my girl, who is simply cutting hair in her salon is too stupid to run a bitcoin mining farm, nor doesnt she even be able to explain all this kind of technical stuff. <snip>

Not an issue at all. Marry her, she can start a company, employ you as manager, and you start to employ and pay social for 2 employees.

More is not required here on Phuket.

Is it this easy at all? 2 Employees is ok actually. I could hire a maid to keep the dust out of the room and another guy to play CandyCrush all day

Risky. Too risky for my taste. It all depends on the future price of bitcoin (and other cryptos). And who can predict it?

No, not really about the Bitcoin price. I'm very happy if we drop to 500$ at all. I would even love to mine on a slightly loss though.

So what's up with that <deleted> I need all that shit to be a broker. Theres gotta be a way to be cut into this without all that shiit. What kind of man hours are you prying in to get the return <deleted> is data mining? 101 me and I'll make you my rich b itch within 6 I need 25%

today Bitmain will bring in the next Batch, delivery November 2017. ~1300$ each for 15 TH/s + you need a PSU 100$ + shipping + Tax.  If you buy 1 unit, you can't sleep anymore due noise, you need 24/7 aircon for heat and you won't make profits. Simply don't do it. As i said, i don't want expend anymore as i don't see future profits with new bought miners.

Interesting, not something I've considered, nor intend doing, I pull XX,XXX USD per month using my laptop and my brain (all legal and taxed), but I don't spend all day waiting to press a button

Anyway, I agree our OP needs to set up a company pronto and get everything legal, I wouldn't be mentioning Bitcoins or mining though, you can do lots of things with a big rack of servers, call it Premium Private Data Storage (Premium means high price so you can justify the income) or some such.

IIRC if you marry your lady you only need two Thai employees (she can be one of them) per work permit.

Allright, so then let's do that. What are my steps from here, what are the roughly costs?

Btw just want to say: Just because NOW a month is 20k profits, doesnt mean life goes on. Even if the BTC Price stays this high, next month might be only 18k, then 15k, then 12k. Simply because more miners worldwide take part. With my current Setup i would have had done Bticoin worth 300k$ monthly 3 years ago.

So, my girl needs go to the goverment building here in Town? Or i need go there to create my company?

You need to hire an intermediate who is experienced in these kinds of things.

Barely anybody registers their own company as it requires waiting in lines and paperwork.

Find a legal office who can do it for you and they will guide you through the whole process.

As a reference, we got a company registered (all the paperwork) in Bangkok a few years ago for the total sum of 10K baht.

Not worth the hassle to try and do it all yourself.

If you mean the OP's setup is even more incriminating then I agree.

Of course the usual caveats apply, but do you have reason to disbelieve him?

I'm just wondering if someone in authority read this thread then requested a list of all the domestic properties in Phuket with a monthly electricty bill exceeding 100k baht, then the next question would be how many of those properties have a falang and thai girl living together..... How long would that list be?

What are you running to accumulate a BHt22,500 electricity bill. A normal Windows computer takes less than 200 watts, so 4800 per day x 30 @ 4 baht per unit is Bht 5760. How many PCs do you run?

You have the decimal point in the wrong place on the leccy bill.

He running servers not a PC.

You calculation is not correct. You pay by KW hours. It would be 4.8 KW per day which would be about 576 baht.

These are not normal desktops. You would be wasting your time trying to mine bitcoins on a normal PC.

They are specialised bitcoin miners, and consume around 1.3 kW each. He is running (looking at the photo) 35 systems.

45 kW/hour heating.....

Add in the cost of runnning aircons to cool down the room.

The figure of 225,000 Baht/year does not look high enough.

45*24*365= 394,000 kW/hr.

At 4 Baht each that is 1,600,000 Baht for electricity per annum. Plus aircons.....

Maybe there is an industrial tarif?

You wrote you are on a Tourist Visa, just start paying tax does not solve your problem:

Attention for Tourist and Transit Visas Applicants I hereby declare that the purpose of my visit to Thailand is for pleasure or transit only and that in no case shallI engage myself in any profession or occupation while in the country. Signature _________________ Date __________

This is what you signed to obtain that visa, mining bitcoins in Thailand sounds to me as engaged in any profession, so by doing that you break the Immigration rules.

TOU Meter gives you cheaper rates. Daytime is expensive but nighttime and weekends + holiday are super cheap like 2.8 THB.

I know people with older Machines ( S3 or S5) who only run them in the night, making them a small profit of ~3k a month. If they would run daytime aswell, they would have a slightly loss.

TOU Meter lets you pay less during nighttime and holidays and more during daytime, giving you an average rate of 3.8 thb.

If you run some older machines, like the S3 or S5 Miners who aren't as efficient and powerful as current S9 machines, you will run on a loss if 24/7, therefore you run the old machines only due nighttime and weekends with a Timer-Plug.

Yes most profitable large miners are building huge data centers in areas like Tibet where Hydro power is cheap. The small guy will be priced out in a few years.

Tibet, Iceland, etc are the places to be.

But take advantage of it now and bank what you can because it is highly likely the train stops in 3 or 4 years, especially if oil prices recover.

I would be more worried about "my enemies".What is going on with them OP?

Half year ago the neighbors beeing mad that the wall was heating up a lot and asked what we were doing. My girlfriend was so smart and didnt said we cook a lot of frenchfries but showed them the room upstairs and said she now do some computer business. We then started to be more efficient on getting the hot air out and the room (classical townhouse shop house) is just a big blowin on one side and a blowout on the other side. You feel almost like mount everest if you are there. No complaints since. But who knows, maybe one day they are mad if my girl is cooking stinky food or whatever, you never know.

Gigawatt, Washington State is the winne. 0,02$ per kwh, the cheapest place ever, they even beat any china mining farm. Insane. They do hydro power aswell.

Yes , my current setup won't survive 4 years so i need to upgrade to keep up with the difficulty, but my girl runs the farm, so she needs to decide stuff like this, right?

Nope.
I didnt get involved in that part because as soon as they see white faces the prices go uo. My thai business partners arranged all that stuff.

But there are hundreds of legal firms in Phuket alone already (around 5 already on walking distance of where i live) so let your gf ask around and keep the 10k in mind as an idea how much it might cost (we had a limited partnership with 4 thais and 2m registered capital).
