Ministry, mining company deny Bt30-bn payment over Chatree closure

THE INDUSTRY Ministry and the Australian company Kingsgate Consolidated Limited have denied a report that the company had asked for Bt30 billion in compensation for the government’s order that closed gold mines, adding that both sides were discussing a settlement of the issue.
