Car road side assist

Featured Replies

Hi, I use to subscribe to Car World Club, but they do not appear to be now operating in Thailand. Will be returning to Thailand for a while and will be touring around by car. Can anyone recommend subject service provider who also operate in the Issan region.

Thanks for guidance

I bought an Isuzu 7 years ago. Trouble free until last month when the Auto transmission stopped working.

Rang my better half and asked her to ring our local Isuzu dealer. 30 minutes later out they came and diagnosed the problem and took the car back to their dealership.

They were closed the following day which was a Sunday. 12 Oclock the next day truck was ready and I picked it up.

400 baht call out fee was all they charged plus the cost of the repair.

Would assume all car dealers would offer this service and a quick phone call would confirm this.

My insurance supposedly includes free roadside assistance. Never called them though so no idea how/if it actually works.

Thanks, but I'm looking for coverage for Thailand, not just locally

Are you renting a car?  What does your rental car contract state? If you own a car, consider Chubb Insurance or Axa insurance. If you read the policy you can see what is included and what is available for an extra annual payment. I have AXA on two cars. Roadside assistance is covered. I have looked into Chubb and it offers a rental car reimbursement as well as roadside assistance for a small annual payment above the level of car insurance I would select. An independent insurance broker may have other insurance companies that include roadside assistance in Thailand.
