Tillerson says U.S. will keep up 'peaceful pressure' on North Korea

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Sunday the firing of three ballistic missiles by North Korea this week was a provocative act but that the United States will continue to seek a peaceful resolution.

"We do view it as a provocative act against the United States and our allies," Tillerson said in an interview on Fox News Sunday. "We're going to continue our peaceful pressure campaign as I have described it, working with allies, working with China as well to see if we can bring the regime in Pyongyang to the negotiating table."

I do like this guy Tillerson. He isn't a big gob like so many of the past SoSs. It appears though that he will be fired quite soon if the non-mainstream press is correct (Axios). .

The only reason he'd be fired is for going against Trump. Those that have are falling like dominos.  LOL

I didn't like him at first, but he seems to be doing ok.

Rex Tillerson is a lot better to be president than the current tweeter president.

You might actually have a point.  Except that he wasn't running and the shrill unindicted criminal elitist harpy was the only other choice.  Nonetheless, although it's Tillerson's job to try and keep trying, it's finally become obvious to everybody with a pulse that even the most persuasive and sensible talk of peace has absolutely no effect on the Pyongyang psycho.
