Just 2 days ago the thai met said no flooding in phuket.

Then it started raining and only just now stoped and guess what its flooded in most places in phuket.

Why even bother making a statement that it will rain but not flood. I guess its just the nature of these guys to put the cart before the horse.

There is always flooding in front of the hospital and police station.

No real news here. Even brief heavy rains cause flooding. That said

it drains quickly after the rain stops.
