flying_solo Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 You can send free SMS with a maximum of 160 chars per message. Only members of Thailand Expat Forum can use the Free SMS service. Where is this service?
bmanly Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 When I first read your message I saw a link in the top left saying free SMS so I clicked it and it took me here: http://www.powerofmessaging.com/Default.aspx I signed up and tried it. They give you 50 units for free. Each SMS costs you 7 units so the first 7 SMS's are free, then to get more units you must pay. In other words it's just a trial. As far as I can see it is not exclusive only to Thaivisa.com members, anyone can get the free trial. For me I will just stick to my own phones SMS which only charges 20c AUD a pop for international SMS's. By the way it is only 130 characters too which is another down fall, go past 130 and the cost increases.
Neeranam Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 I think I get 50 free a month from Dmaximise, or Dmax.
cdnvic Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 This has been covered over and over and over in the computers and technology forum. /closed
