Iranian woman assaulted by Pattaya bar girls

Pattaya, Chon Buri - An Iranian tourist told police that she was beaten up by some ten Thai women, who are employees of a bar in this seaside town late Monday night.

Javdai Ghoni, 36, filed complaints with Pattaya police station at 3:30 am that she was assaulted inside the Tony Discotheque on Pattaya Walking Street in Bang Lamung district.

She said she visited the discothque with an Iranian man and Iranian woman.

She said some 10 Thai women suddenly assaulted her and the discotheque later ejected her and friends.

She suffered badly bruises on her face and head.

Tony's is basically a middle eastern disco these days. I wonder what the Iranian bird did to get beaten down??? :o

Refused to buy something useless from one of the thousands of vendors that pester you in there?

Hmm, nothing in the local rags that I can see (online).

Maybe a case of the green-eyed monster (envy/jealousy) making one say/do things they might not otherwise ?

Interesting, an Iranian lady out in Pattaya with A lady and A man, where are the chaperones? The family? Don't they usually travel in packs?

Now for some wild speculation based on no available facts, maybe she found her husband there engaged in conversation with a local lass and disturbed the business transaction being negotiated? This could cause the local lass to feel afronted and get the help of her friends.

BTW where is the out of focus and very grainy CCTV pictures? Or is Tony's one of the places exempt from having CCTV?

When I was working in Iran I took my family on a package tour of SE Asia. All the Iranian men were far more interested in Singapore and Bugis Street (the old one) than in Pattaya ladies.

Tony's could have CCTV, but it aint likely to show much - lighting and crowds are not conducive to great pix.
