  1. I am picking up my new ride tommorow and can't get red plates as they are all in use but they will supply us with them as soon they have a free set.

We been told this is not a problem as long as we stay within Chonburi province.

My handyman has bought a new pickup a couple of weeks ago and he is on "No" plates and has been driving regularly between Chang Mai - Pattaya - Nakhon Pathom and he has been stopped many times but he has a paper which he got from the dealer (and the dealer got it from the LTO) if he shows that, they just let him pass.

  2. In this example Google Translate works !

    Electricity bill ---- ค่าไฟฟ้า

    Water bill --- ค่าน้ำประปา

    Thanks!

Would ค่าน้ำ be used as well giving the tendency to drop as many words as possible?

Funny about Google since I do not trust it one iota....... biggrin.png

ค่าน้ำ would also be sufficient of course, but better use ประปา also so they know what water you are talking about biggrin.png)

  4. OP are you by any chance looking to buy the same tiles and thus need the invoice ?

If that is the case, don't bother as the different batches of tiles will have slightly different colors. I was always advised to buy only tiles from the same batch.

  5. It's a requirement now. I got away with it last time, but they said to bring proof of address next time. It is a requirement now in Jomtien.

    <snip>

True, I always took a copy of my Internet Bill with me and I was always asked. (Jomtien Immigration)

Edit: just to add, I've heard you now need 2 photos when extending your visa. Things seem to be in flux as there's a new boss in charge.

What extension are you on ? As that was always needed for a Extension based on Marriage, I did mine in June and was asked for two copies of Tm7 with 2 photos.

  6. There is an option of either 400k in bank accout 2 months or proof of 40k income for extensions of stay. For leaving country every 3 months that would be a multi entry non immigrant O visa obtained from a Consulate outside Thailand. For 90 day address reports you do them in writing using a TM.47 form so not by phone.

Do i bring this personal?Or do i send it by post every 3 months?

It all depends which Immigration office you use, if you go there you can ask them if they accept 90 Day reports per Mail. I always go personally as it only takes a couple of minutes (30 min max) and it is only a 20 minute drive from my house.

  7. Talking about this... When they had the 0% program over 4 years for the sale of the last Escapes at Ford, they told me that I could pay any amount of down payment I wanted, up to 10 % or none at all. I guess their insurance covered at 90 % the value of the car then.

I think you are mixing up down payment and insurance.

Payment of a car always has to be made 100% in full, but even when you have paid for the car in full, and you get into car wreck which totals your car while driving out of the dealer, the insurance will pay you only 80% max of the value of the car.

The down payment of 10% means that there is still 90% of the car unpaid for, so if you would get into a wreck the insurance will only pay 80% of the value, and it will be your responsibility to come up with the rest of the money to pay for the car in full.

  8. The data rate is definitely set from the TOT end, not yours

so you are being short changed. bah.gif

i always have difficulty trying to log in to my Gmail account, about 50% of times it's OK, the other 50% I am asked to set up a new account. I don't know why they manage to stay in business, it's a good job Gmail is not my main account.

I log in into my Gmail account (as it is my main account) around 10 times every day (I am using ToT 7Mb) and I never get the question asking me to set up a a new account. Sometimes the loading is slow, but most of the times it's reasonably fast.

I think you should follow Noob7's answer and empty your browser history and cache files, for that I use Ccleaner
