  1. ^ It appears that you have a Multiple Entry Visa which you got at a Consulate or Embassy outside of Thailand.

Each entry (into Thailand) is good for 90 Days in total, so after 90 Days in Thailand you have to go outside of Thailand and re-enter. You can do this multiple (M) times until 17-1-2014

You do not need to do 90 Day Reports.

You only need to do 90 Day Reports if you got a Extension of Stay at your Local (friendly) immigration office

    Edit: //

And No you do not need a Re-Entry Permit, as a Re-Entry Permit is only necessary if you have an Extension of Stay issued by your local (Thai) immigration Office

  2. If you had not used the unit for awhile (say 1 week) it may take longer to re-aquire the satellites. Not really sure if this is true with modern units but it sure was with the earlier models. The ephemeris data which describes the orbit of the satellite used to be valid for 7 days before a new one was required. Without accurate ephemeris data the receiver will take a while to aquire a position solution.

Interesting... We had a signal all the way from Lopburi to Jomtien the day before. Do you know if it searches for different ephemeris data upon power up from different distant locations? Is more than one satellite involved?

    Maybe this helps:

  3. The best thing you could do with these attachments is upload them to virustotal.com, that way (if it's an "unkown" virus or just some minor change to a known virus) other people will be protected as well, as the signatures of these files will be added to many virus scanners (not sure but I think 40 Virusscanners in total ) !!

  4. If I live in a big condo that currently has a communal dish for True, how will I be able to get CTH?

True Visions use Thaicom 5 satellite at 78.5 deg East, so you will not be able to receive CTH. The additional problem is that CTH are on ABS 1 satellite at 75.o deg E on the C-band , which requires a large black dish

So presumably if my condo is so minded, it can put up the dish required for CTH and then the individual condos that wish to subscribe can do so (as it does at the moment with True)? And if people want True and CTH, it's just a matter of having two receivers and two subscriptions?

+ laying Cables from the "new" communal CTH dish to all Condos.
