Moreso petty thievery to help with obtaining more drugs, addicts will do anything. General thievery, shoplifting, muggings etc. Ooops there goes another phone or e-bike. They are minimal, as I said I am less concerned about cannabis, moreso the harder drugs. Disagree all you want, but pointing elsewhere is a ''it was him ' argument. We can look at alcohol to say this is what can happen with other addictive drugs. But it is socially ingrained now.
