  1. Not sure, it was included for me and with my aversion to going all that way, I have not done my own CORs for ages. Yes, a TM30 must be current, but again, when one uses an agent, things are usually less strict. An agent sorted my TM30 too, for 1000 baht (I was getting a new COR at the same timt), prior to that I had never actually done a TM30 and been here for many years, so felt I dodged a fine.
  2. Haha, I doubt it. A traditional massage rather than a sex focused one is likely better approach.
  3. Rat or two eh?
  4. Why not, perhaps his computer supply is 220-230vAC which is the standard voltage in Thailand? Most computer supplies are 100-230v input capable so what you say is possible.
  5. I was just having fun with you. I used an agent last time... I live way North of town so trips to immigration, to get a COR, are a pain, and I also avoided having to get a doctors certificate, and do the on-line test. That seemed worthwhile for the amount it cost me, total of 5000 baht, 2x 6 year licences. I didn't even need the rides to and from the DVLC, as easier to drive the short distance myself than get picked up or attend the agents office. You seem to have conveniently have forgotten those steps. Cute girl to chat to there provided too!
  6. Of course it does..... although one might fear a rogue bill one day. Quick scan with a banking app seems easier.
  7. I wonder if they will get a team of those Burmese women in funny hats in there to clean them out?
  8. I would suspect the proposed taxation of Expats would deter more than events like this.
  9. It was absolutely packed last year! Surprised to see China missing from the list of those displaying, although it might have conflicted with HK. I expect great things from China where fireworks displays are concerned. It is certainly a great event and totally free.... but well, the few mentioned mall car-parks just won't cut it.
  10. Yes, they are taking over, from the Brits!
  11. I feel sad that this young enterprising woman is having these issues...Rottweiler needed?
  12. Without further action is lazy speak for 'do nothing'. Did they not check permission of stay/visa status? We don't need these foreign pros and what sounds like a pimp brawling on the streets, sullying the image of our family friendly, world class resort town!
  13. They need to be arrested by immigration police as I doubt they have work permits... then of course deported.
  14. It's like me laughing at those in economy on the flights home and queuing to board! But yours is faux laughter to cover your shame of poverty!
  15. Just trolls following you around, take it as flattery! You get couple as pets around here when you post wise comments!
  16. It's like when you call hotel maintenance, and a little guy arrives without so much as a screwdriver... and you told them the AC was not working, ladder and tools are needed. Poor young guy was the rookie who always gets sent!
  17. Get him to stand up, he is sat on his wallet.
  18. Getting embarrassing to be seen out in the midday sun here......
  19. Apparently the guy was utterly and completely covered in shxt.... so not off the mark really.
  20. Pinned topic at the top of this very forum.
  21. Yes, there is hardly a sterling record when it comes to enforcing measures on land!
  22. That casual look, leaning back on the rail, beer in one hand, cigarette in the other.........
  23. My French is far from that level, but better than your quoting ability!
  24. Well, at least I learned what a 'queue scalper' is today!
