    Perhaps they do not like Thai food, or have aversions to too much sugar, MSG or spicey food gives them issues. Maybe they don't like to see the dishes being washed in a small bowl of filthy water or have dogs wandering around them, or cannot communicate with the staff. Not so difficult to figure out.... CC's is cheap food compared to most Western food places.

    It happened in countries where psychiatric health issues were not so obvious, USA, Canada etc.

    If they are transitioning from Skytrain to a place of work requiring one that might be the reason..... many workplaces are still requiring them. Maybe the current state of emergency makes that less odd..... and they will be less common once it ends. Making a fuss over this trivial thing is what strikes me as absurd.

    Is this perhaps why the restaurant i was at last night was quiet... it is seafood and usually packs them in Sunday evening?

    The Hereditary Sovereign system just doesn't work the same way... there is a bit of history behind it. A US President is a very different thing. (We struggle to understand how this Electoral college thingy works even). I always felt Biden was put there simply as someone who could (and thankfully did) , get the prior guy out. A second term for Joe is a stretch.

    I always suspect they want to do it on the cheap.... or some jobsworth 'saves' money by reducing the spec of the project...ie for smaller pipes, a few million cheaper, one for you, three for me.

    I like to watch Sumo and it appears they are still being worn in Japan, certainly inside sporting events. I suspect China is too.

    A few on Soi Honey remain I believe, although condo construction will get most of them.... a pal stayed a lot at one just West of the InTown Holiday Residence, what a dump, but fitted his needs (cheap) and location actually great.

    It is one of the differences here one has to lean.... don't take off as soon as the lights go green.... some ruddy great truck or cement mixer will be running the red from the other direction. I like to think they are just finishing up sending instant messages, or a look at me Facebook post before setting off.

    Well the Chancellor is not one of them and they are driving the country into the ground. What is going so wrong with Thailand then as far as economics is concerned? I live here and despite a high inflation I see business picking up well and a lot of development going on. If you simply complain wrt Prawits rather naïve comments, yes that is justified.

    Well they are still commonplace here (Pattaya), I would say 70/30 in the Mall wearing. Non wearers are mostly Western looking, but not always, men out shopping with Thai wives go along with it. Far fewer outside.
