    Curable may not be the word, treatable Long Covid symptoms can be up to 12 weeks in most cases....although if the Covid leads to pneumonia longer term damage to lungs is found. If one has never been infected by Covid, the risks of long term symptoms may warrant measures like maintaining booster injections and other cautions.

    No, the Thais, if anything, are great rule breakers. But they are more inclined to do what is good for the group, rather than the Western self centered approach. They are not standing alone, that is nonsense, other countries still retain mask wearing... . Don't let it worry you....

    Yes looks like you are correct.. although my bill does not break it up and appears to apply one per unit price, somewhere in the middle of that group. Plus a surcharge of 0.2477 per unit.

    To my recollection the current billing does not work that way, ie all units get charged at the higher rate related to consumption... I would suspect that would b how this works too.

    Well so have a lot of folks on Covid extensions but it is still a tourist visa entry. Some banks insist on a work permit, some are happy to see Non-Imm-O or retirement/ marriage extensions. Others want to sell you insurance... which is a bit of a scam really.

    Nor is it included in the permissions of a tourist visa or exempt entry. Still blocking the pavement. Perhaps they could help clear the drains in Nong Plalai for 300 baht/day.

    Likely being the operative word.... but we do get plenty domestic tourists in Pattaya these days, and they may want to visit one of the main attractions. You might be surprised as to how many Thai ladies are quite naïve.

    Well probably not, but it will achieve far more than simply laying down and putting up with it. What do you think brought about these 'new rules of the road', or the removal of the cable tangles? The offhand comments of Russel Crowe and Bill Gates had their impact..... Venting here makes people feel better.... and every now and again, I suspect the sentiment leaks out and someone reacts.

    Right turn and straight on down to the hospital. Flooding in that area happens but soon drains away. Drove through it yesterday no issues. Weather not predictable this time of year.
