Why focus on Sterling..... ? It is a weak currency in a dire political situation and carries massive debt. They just announced 9% inflation there and are heading into widescale strike actions. Third world numbers....

The coach from Jomtiem food mart was a pretty comfy slick operation... if one lived nearby, in one of the VTs perhaps, easy to get to. If you had a pal drop you off even easier. The drop off at the airport was easy and off you go. I have had a lot of drama over the years with various mini- buses and taxi drivers, getting to the airport can be stressful. It got to the point I would always stay in a hotel near DMG.... use the hotel Limo next day. When Swampy opened, it was an easy ride from Pattaya....find a reliable taxi.

Really, and how did you determine that?... I would expect a girl who had been in the game longer to carry a little more risk wrt STDs.

Seems fair... it is the end of the 'line'... they often stop and pause there too. If one is on 2nd and wants to head South, perhaps they expect you to get onto the Beach Rd,

Not tried Nana for a good while.....but even on the Skytrain, and walking from Asok, so many classy looking attractive women.... really puts Pattaya in a different place.

What puzzles me is why so many folks believe that when the mask mandate is cancelled, the whole Thai population will tear off their masks, and dance around wildly singing 'I'm Free, I'm Free' like little Roger Daltreys. Maybe, just maybe, they will make up their own minds, they don't seem to have found mask wearing to be the burden the Western cry-babies did.

I assure you Walking St is distinctly different now compared to pre Covid.

Not sure of that... there was an American guy doing it too. USA guys feel they have a God (or Constitutional) right to video someone in public places, and the victim has no expectation of privacy. I don't see many making videos of customers in Burger King or McD though, and they want to catch people in a girly bar location. I believe I should have some rights over public broadcasting of my daily life.....sad buggers.

Always found it easier to see good lookers in Bangkok, at Tilac and Baccara maybe. Just the silly prices and sometimes some nonsense of sitting out front with a beer before going in. Also found very attractive girls in MPs there, very unlikely in Pattaya.

I saw a video of a beach recently that sounded like Mexico, the people there were being aggravated by hawkers every 10-30 seconds, and I remember thinking that was once Pattaya and they had the same ignorance..... Get shut of these pests......

It works based on a particular location.... like the general traffic accidents and holes in the roads.
