You would be a strange person to claim the Indians have not created a reputation for themselves... it was not fabricated solely by the falangs you dislike so. Thanks to them we had the frequent case of GGBs trying to charge on the doors..... The Pattaya model may have to change....

    Yes I too have seen some of them spending liberally... and enjoying themselves in a WS GGB. I have also seen (yes seen myself) them wander in and gawp, refuse to sit down and refuse to order..... these are the ones that get attention of the managers and security. They are the ones that get remembered and produce the generalizations..... that's life.

    Cosmetic work... minimum wage not really the point. Wife's (Thai) nephew has lost a chunk of a front tooth and the crown required to sort it was also surprisingly expensive.

    Demand was being passed to Qatar, and I contend it was certainly not there for BA. They do not fly to Phuket. It might be something to do with the slots approach at LHR which BA have the major share of and are worth millions. And by the way, the old BA flight on their rattling shaky old 777 was awful....

    It appears to be similar wrt cannabis judging by posts here. I enjoy a cold beer with dinner, not sure why that makes me sad, and I don't believe it adds boredom to my life. A little pleasure I feel. Haven't got the taste for the awful sugary fizzy drinks that some like..... being well past 6 years old.

    You are mixing your tenses... the demand was not there at the time of the cancellation.... it was many months ago BA cancelled their flights to Thailand, at a time entry was very restricted, (December 2021). BA scrapped 2000 flights from Dec 21 to March 2022. It was due to reduced demand.... Not sure there is demand even yet, the chaos of UK airports now is deterrent enough.

    So you are more concerned about the extremely small percentage of 'remnants' that do escape, but fail to see the benefit of holding back the major 'expulsions'...... Sorry, but that is just dim. I suggest that masks prevent them being breathed in too!

    I disagree..... I think it is simply a factor of genes..... I have a couple of pals who do not get hangovers, very envious I am. Just always presumed they had better livers....
