Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
What's even funnier about that clownish comment is that the OP already did get a new passport but still had problems. "Ever since I’ve had problems entering. I eventually get in, but I’m always in the immigration office for an hour. I have a new passport, but they see it in the system." -

I'm looking at my December 2021-issued TM6 now, cannot see a field for departure date. -

Can you please translate the Thai script for me Joe? What does the letter in front of 30/45 in the "Visa Class" section mean? -

Departure card shows future leaving date
Lemsta69 replied to timoti's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That's correct but it is only until from 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023. Perhaps they extend the program if it proves to be successful. -

It could be mislaid national pride, resentment, boredom, sheer wilfulness or any number of other reasons. But I reckon they must get a great kick out of doing it. Imagine being the significant other of one of the types and having to listen to all the war stories at the dinner table? ???? -

Yes, we should consider it normal and acceptable behaviour otherwise we'll go mad trying to fight it ???? Blaming the end user is of course ridiculous and you're right to get upset about that. -

Thanks for the explanation, it's starting to make more sense now. Usually people who intend to do out/in border bounces don't plan for contingencies like getting denied re-entry to Thailand and may not have the resources to make it from the border to Phnom Penh for a tourist visa etc They don't want to strand the guy in rural Cambodia with no chance of getting back in so refusing exit is the order of two evils. -

Have you been reading about the raids in Bangkok on the late-night karaoke joints? It seems taking illicit drugs here is all the rage now with a certain type of tourist. Mainland Chinese I believe, they seem to like a good party just as much as the next man. Ketamine was one drug that was mentioned recently, they mix it with water and call it Happy Drink or something. I've heard some horror stories about the Special K, wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

won't get questioned at DMK or SUV airport?
Lemsta69 replied to agg211's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That might be the technical answer for air entry but in practice the IOs will eventually give you grief about it if you "stay too long". -
New boss of Region 2 flexing according to the videos narrated by Adam. I'm unfamiliar with police regions so I had to look it up. If Wikipedia is correct, wow, that's a big zone...8 provinces. "Region 2—covering provinces: Chanthaburi Trat Sa Kaeo Chachoengsao Prachinburi Chonburi Rayong Nakhon Nayok"
