  1. Why would you want any at all? BTW, from the OP - this is totally untrue if you don't work in Thailand. Expats with over 180 days in Thailand must submit returns for income remitted in 2024. New tax rules require filing electronically, with possible refunds for early submissions.
  2. As a company they can give tax advice but the foreign guy can't, as previously mentioned, he would need to possess a CPA license issued by the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC), which he doesn't seem to have. Shame on yourself. The cheapest one I see is 14k.
  3. Now I see why these people are spreading fear and lies on forums such as this. Disgraceful. It takes me no more than 15 minute to do my tax return online. Expert Expat Tax Filing From THB 26,000
  4. It would be quite simple to see if he has a CPA license issued by the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC), if not, he is a charlatan.
  5. My point is that if these guys don't have the required professional licenses, they are working illegally and should be reported if they are charging people money. One could find out on their website if they do or not. The Accounting Professions Act mandates that individuals offering accounting and tax services possess a CPA license issued by the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC). This entails meeting educational prerequisites, passing examinations, and fulfilling practical experience requirements.
  6. Not only would he need a WP, he would need the appropriate qualifications/licensing as it is a highly regulated activity. What's the name of the company? Are they responsible for spreading this nonsense about retirees need to get a Thai TID?
  7. No, they are different, it is illegal for a foreigner to give Thai tax advice for exchange of money.
  8. I wouldn't include mutual funds gains on tax return. Sales of shares is a bit complicated.
  9. Never heard of him. If he is a foreigner, he can''t legally give Thai tax advice.
  10. There are obviously exceptions. When I met my wife I was penniless, newly recovering alcoholic English teacher. My wife's friends/family questioned her about why she wanted to marry me. Her main reason was because I don't drink, nothing to do with money. Now answer my question about Elon.
  11. I've discussed this at length on the Thai language sub forum. The official RG transliteration is wrong but they won't change. That's why there are many foreigners that can't be understood by Thais when they say they want to go to "Kalasin" instead of Galasin - Khon Kaen instead of Khon Gaen, Hwa Hin instead of Hua Heen. Chatuchak instead of Jatujak, Kanchanburi not Ganchanaburi. Pranburi instead of Branburi etc etc.
  12. You are talking purely a bout Farang men and Thai women. It's a totally different thing for Thai on Thai, for starters, they usually marry to someone on the same social ladder rung. Western men are not even on the first rung and most of their wives are on the bottom rung. Thai women don't really like farang but for the money.
  13. Do you think this guy is a fair representation of all Muslim around the world? Severe case of paranoia, and especially funny as you are an immigrant in Thailand.
  14. Of you know any foreigners offering tax advice or services, please report them. I think media such as Thai Examiner are spreading this nonsense for financial gain.
  15. I think Swedish/Venezuelan women are the most beautiful and perhaps Chinese/Mongolian the least, we are allowed an opinion. Fair play to square head.
  16. Thais have a a thing about "dtung boeng" or "dtung maep" as they say in Isarn. This is a strict hierarchical social structure, in case you didn't know and noses and skin colour are part of it, whether right or wrong.
