How many people do you think you need to <deleted> off and whop your skull?

Might try to get contractor bids for the labor only then you buy the materials. Good way to insure quality materials. Really not that many things to buy.

So do not mix current year income with savings, have a separate account for each and on January 1 each year transfer all money from the current year income account to the savings account since it is no longer current year income. Of course transfers to Thailand come from the savings account and no Thai taxes.

Question re: Maneerat visa agency in Pattaya:
Dante99 replied to JimmyJ's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Dang is the best but she won't you get away with your usual <deleted>, she will call you out fast and strong. That is truly a good helpful attitude, just what you need. -
On the wrong-side street coming from Thapae just before the Sikh Temple on the right side is a shop for sewing supplies, they would most likely have the velcro you need. That is about 40 meters before Chiang Moi Road.

Re Entry Permit at immigration is usually not a long wait, not like a visa extension. At airport depends on the availability of immigration officers and the queue, sometimes fast sometimes not and it is when it is not fast that it can become a problem. If it is slow at the Immigration office it is not a problem as long as you brought your book to read.

If there is no bad smell and the toilets are working properly, do nothing except be thankful.

Congratulations Dean, it looks like you got what you wanted, rather a roundabout way to get there but the end result was good.
-
You are assuming that result. And you missed my suggestion to ask them to stop or wait a minute....I think that real life experience is that hundreds of thousands of anchors have been put into floors and walls in Thailand with hammers without damaging the tile on the surfaces. Oh my so now you modify the story to tell us that he was hammering on the tile, not the insert. Enjoy your evolving drama.
-
Using the word stupid is definitely not called for and frankly impolite. How about: Please stop or please wait a minute. then I am worried about the tile and proceed to resolve that worry Not really bad work, nothing was damaged or completed in an unsatisfactory way. The problem was all about you and your worry or fear.

Have you tried those white balls they put in urinals to mask the odor? Urinal cakes. They seem to keep the jingjoks out as well as the insects.
-
Why not just go back and get one with a smaller shaft. They do make large diameter drills with small shafts just for people like you who have only drills with small chucks. Can hardly wait to find out how the screen frames turn out since you have let folks know of your bad manners.

Guess not. The guy that made the steel number set also blew it. The mounting brackets in their current position interfere with seeing the numbers clearly. They are too big and in the wrong location. Best to make them small as possible and located under the horizontal bar that the numbers sit on. Then the numbers are clear. You really should have given the lady a drawing of what you wanted, not just a bunch of words.

What happens to signify the start and end? Lots of different views about that.

So you have ordered it and have a promised delivery date. Well done.
-
Just have somebody go in and pay the fine. You really should not do it yourself since you have so many issues and may come apart instead of keeping your mouth shut.

It does not look good, you will not be happy with it in the long run. You have hired a quality contractor at quality prices and should not accept that kind of work. With the steel away from the wall you are providing a home for insects and jingjoks which will get messy and become a cleaning problem in the future. Unless there is something that mounts on the steel which will hide it all. I do not think you need a measurable standard, just looking at it should be sufficient for the contractor to understand it needs to be corrected.

Seems like he has asked the hotel but not the right question to confirm his concern
