  1. Collectivists and Globalists use the Soviet Communist Party Handbook as their modus operandi. Conservatives tend to abide by the Marquis of Queensbury rules. History shows that Conservatiism ultimately beats Collectivists in the 12th round, but only after receiving multiple knockdowns.
  2. He'll probably reference Charlottsville, without a clue as to what was actually said. Even Biden resurrected this one in the debate, and even he probably doesn't know that the left wing MSM have debunked themselves over the lies they promulgated. They tend to live in a bubble of cognitive dissonance and doublethink. They have my sympathy.
  3. I wonder who said “I have one job, and that’s to beat Donald Trump. I’m absolutely certain I’m the best person to be able to do that. So, we’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye. We can’t go another day, another day, without explaining what he’s doing, and we have to go after him.”
  4. What muppet bought the high gloss paint for the job?
  5. I could be wrong, but this is possibly the first time ever the word "meticulous" has been used in the same sentence as the BIB.
  6. Platinum advice. - don't tell the missus you're out playing poker with your mates and arrive home with your shirt inside out and missing a sock. Don't ask me how I know.
  7. Why does everybody think health and safety legislation prevents occupational accidents? No amount of legislation will prevent the inept and stupid from injuring or killing themselves. Idiots making stupid decisions and killing themselves is a design feature of the system, not a bug.
  8. When I was a lad, P.E stood for Physical Education. And now I think of it, STD meant Subscriber Trunk Dialling. How times, and TLA's have changed.
  9. In many countries, that would be considered graffiti.
  10. Left and Right, Conservativism and Liberalism, Capitalism and Socialism - these names for political ideology are no longer relevant. The changing face of politics has rendered these terms useless. Globalism and Nationalism are now the main descriptors for geo-politics. And there are fascists and totalitarians on both sides. I'm over democracy and rule of the mob. Anarchism is now my preference. Although if anybody can show me the list of "Things that governments do well", I might be convinced to change my mind.
  11. Officially it is one-way from Dongtan beach heading south. But this is Thailand. Depending on traffic volume, time of day, and how much you value your life, it is optional.
  12. Guaranteed to be a word salad. I bet the poor sod controlling the teleprompter gets the jitters every time POTUS goes into gibberish mode.
  13. Kudos to the guy for thinking strategically. When the excrement hits the fan, worldwide logistics will fall apart.
  14. I immediately associated this story with Humpty Dumpty.
  15. This comes as a total surprise to me.
  16. Twenty-six cats. The kitty litter tray might have spontaneously combusted.
  17. Fishing at midnight in rough seas. Mind you, I'm assuming the writer didn't confuse his am with his pm. Sounds very dodgy. Makes you wonder if the tourists were Burmese, and actually the crew.
  18. That's about what, a 140 gram necklace? I sympathize with the poor Indian gentleman.
  19. Luckily the passenger load was only at 50% capacity. It could have been much worse.
  20. The local mosquito population will be forever grateful.
  21. Be careful when buying from non-recognized outfits. I knew somebody who bought Bridgestones really cheap for his Toyota Vigo. They were cheap because they were Chinese knockoffs called Bridestone (missing the G) and the big holes in the middle weren't actually in the middle. Made for an interesting ride.
  22. I'm big on self-responsibility. If I cross the road and get smacked by a vehicle, it will be 100% my fault. Doesn't matter if the driver is sober or dead drunk and doing 160klm/h. Applying this attitude to everything in daily life (from crossing the road, to managing your diet, to not sending your life savings to a Nigerian prince), leads to generally positive outcomes.
  23. I'm reconciled to the fact that my Caucasian (with a capital C) grandchildren will actually be a minority by about 2075. Auckland, the largest city in NZ, is only 54% Caucasian. Place Summaries | Auckland Region | Stats NZ And that information is from 2018. Immigration to NZ last year was 225,000 on a population of circa 5M. That represents 4.5% of the population in only one year. New Zealand immigration hits an all-time high as movement surges following pandemic lull | AP News Whites are already a minority in London. You don't need to be a mathematician to see where this is going.
  24. Was at a country wedding party and they had run a wire through the trees and suspended about 30 lights from the cable. On closer inspection, I saw the bulb holders were connected to the wires with two safety pins. I assumed maybe they were DC, but nope. I traced the cable back to a 220v outlet.
