While I have no qualm with this myself, I would think his off-the-wall political theories would be mocked even more by appearing on a sex site. And of course there are still those who abhor such things (or so they claim) and would never admit that they visited such a disgusting website. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/mike-johnson-son-monitor-porn-intake-covenant-eyes-1234870634/ Or EM has had enough of the political circus and now is looking for a way for X to cover its losses. As it is there is no shortage such sites, so he is entering a competitive market.

I liken it to Al Capone's case: they couldn't tag him for all the racketeering etc, and they finally nailed him for what? In this case, I suspect it was decided to at least put felon on his resume. Any future convictions would turn him into a repeat offender. But the image initiative is underway. The Revisionist History of the Trump Trial Has Already Begun We can take bets as to when it finally seeps in to the official record.

Damned right! The plant is just sitting there, basking in the sun, then the barbarian vegetarians come along and devour it. Shame!

Yes, Trump is a convicted felon, that is why people are saying Trump is a convicted felon, because Trump is a convicted felon. We are reminded of the power of repeating the same thing over and over by none other than that convicted felon Donald Trump. The convicted felon has probably repeated the terms hoax, witch hunt, and fake news in the past nine years more times than he's sat on his golden toilet seat. It has his followers frothing at the mouth whenever the convicted felon repeats it. Accept it.

I remember watching Al Jaz in LOS during the campaign, and at the very end of the clip, for maybe 5 seconds, they showed people at rallies holding up signs depicting the O family as monkeys. Never saw that on any Western channel; imagine, Fox judging something as too low! -

I wasn't aware of this, thanks for the post. Perhaps this has something to do with it: Rod Blagojevich: Why did Trump just free a jailed Democrat? . -
Trump found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records

Let's not forget the gag-order business involved in this trial. The judge has kept the violations separate from the trial itself, allotting their own segment of the court's time and keeping all business concerning them in written form, as opposed speaking about them. They are a case of their own, and I anticipate that when the sentencing is in session the defendant will be sentenced for them in addition to the case at hand. If he's remanded on July 11th he won't be able to attend the GOP convention. "Sorry folks, our candidate cannot be here today, he's in prison." -

When Did Thailand Become Such a tourist hotspot?
bendejo replied to Querentino_Spaghettino's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
It was the VN war that put it on the map, US military guys returning with tales of sensual adventures and knock-out marijuana in LOS. There was a movie (French, I think) called Emmanuelle that pushed the reputation of it being a flesh pit. The word backpacker (for such travellers) wasn't used yet, and there were a lot of young people doing the overland route through Asia travelling from Oz and NZ to UK, and back. Even then, Bkk was known as one of the best places in the world for cheap air tickets -- maybe it has changed now, but it was not possible to cross into Burma (now Myanmar) by land. The mid-1980s or so amped up the backpacker thing; there was no KSR before then, most of the cheap places to stay were around Hualumpong, but there was nothing like what KSR has become. Something else that happened in the 1980s was Nepal became a big sports-adventure destination, offering white-water rafting, which I don't recall being offered in the 1970s. I suspect a lot of people flew into Katmandu via BKK. -

IMO if/when the GOP cleans up its act they will purge all those who were part of the MAGA farce. It will be like in the doomsday movies where the survivors who turned cannibal will be killed off. But things are going to get a lot worse for the US right-wing before they get better, and the Dems seem to be playing it smart (for a change): back off and let them devour each other. The present GOP is bothered by this, it really irked them that during McCarthy's SOTH fiasco the Dems were laughing and boozing it up while they were wringing their hands. On the other hand I do not at all cherish the arrival of the New GOP headed by the likes of Liz Cheney, but I may not live to see that (Cheney 2032?). It looks like Nikki will not be allowed into the new fold. BTW I still stand by the possibility that by the time November comes around neither of the two major party's current candidates will be in the running.

She's just kicking up dust, show the orange she's working. Prediction: Regardless of how the jury delivers, I think the judge just might give the defendant a small sampling of government accommodation for behaving like such a jackass during the trial. Just a few days, maybe a week. No warning, no "report the next day," just take him down right from the courtroom.
