I think it's almost funny when many guys here write about problems with wives who worked previously in bars. Sure, there are problems in some of those relationships. But what about "normal" relationships. Are all educated couples with good jobs happily ever after? I know enough guys who married a good girl and later they divorced. Problems happen in all relationships, not just when the woman was working in a bar.

And that's my point. It seems many people who can afford a maid and nanny have them. And then the parents go to work and make money and the nanny takes care of the children. Now, are these nannies who are professionals who are trained to take care of children? Or is it more likely that the rich parents hire someone cheap?

Does anybody really understand people like Trump or Thaksin? They are so different in so many ways from the rest of humanity that there is little to compare with.

That would only be possible if they would have principles. They don't! They want power and money and their criminal leader back. That's it.

It seems it's difficult to find good medical professionals in Thailand. Even Cambodia has better specialists. How else is it possible to explain that those medical checkups, which he wants to do somewhere outside Thailand, are the reason for the delay of his return this time? How long does it take to fly on a private jet from Cambodia to Thailand? An hour? Oh no! He can't take that medical risk. Imagine he lands in Thailand and there is no qualified doctor to find. It must be really hard for the billionaire with his private jet to find a doctor. So sad.

Was that like the Nigerian scam: I have this gift for you, but first you have to pay the import tax. Or did they invest a little to get a big return? Or in other words: Why would a reasonable pretty, young and smart women give any guy a gift to build up a relationship?

Why would you invest substantial money into an area you know little about? And if 5/5 people here would write: It's a great idea, do it. Would you do it? As far as I know buying a condo in Thailand to rent it out and make money is mostly best case risky and often a bad idea. A few people, who know the market well, might make money. But it seems there are not too many of those experts around.

I gave up after reading maybe 1/3 of your post. You, like many others, try to simplify things to black and white. Good and bad. Women who want money and women who don't care about men's money. And it seems you think people never change. All wrong! There is seldom black and white. People change. And we are all mostly not rational. There is no: if you have type A this will happen and with type B that will happen. Lots of things happen. Some are predictable, some not. And people change all the time, sometimes in ways nobody foresaw.
