I think there are rules like alcohol can't be sold directly near universities, etc. I think those rules make sense. They don't prevent misuse, but they make it more difficult.

That is obviously not good. But probably it wasn't the fault from the show where you bought it. Some companies, like HP, Lenovo, and I am sure others, have different lines of products. Often they call them business or consumer products. Business products are normally more expensive, but they are more sturdy, and have better support. I.e. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad with premium support within 24h in my office. One of my customers bought a HP notebook. He though HP = good quality. When he had a problem, he gave it to them for repair and it took weeks before he got it back. Obviously that is not all black and white but if someone relies on their PC and can't afford to have no working PC for a couple of days or even weeks then it is definitely a good idea to buy business class quality and support.

Tonight, I woke up about 3am and I thought about some work which I should/want to do in the morning. And then it came to my mind that it would be good to have another micro SD card for that job. So, I ordered it online at 3:26am. Normally that shop has 3h delivery service in Bangkok. I thought they might start at 9 so I will have my delivery at noon. But I was wrong, it seems they work all night. On 3:53 I received a mail with a video in which they pack my order and at 5:10 the delivery driver arrived and called me (and I told him to leave the with the security guard from the building). Not even 2h from order to delivery in the middle of the night - it can't get much better than that.

I didn't read all posts, maybe that was mentioned already. It seems many Thai have 2nd jobs beside their main jobs. Such jobs might be selling something in the online stores or doing in private more of what they do as their main job in a company like an electrician etc. Medical doctors have also often a job in a hospital and another job in a private clinic. At least for me it seems that people can have vastly different incomes depending on where they work. I.e. I met girls in offices who made maybe 15k per month and others, in other offices, made over 40k for what looked to me like similar jobs.

What happened? Couldn't you afford the first one and then you found an alternative? Or are you still strong and can handle two of them in one day?

I though they always make follow up appointments, after all, another visit is more money for the hospital. ????

Thanks And it's not only government hospitals. I.e. I remember visiting a specialist eye doctor at BNH. She was only one day a week there. And everybody got an appointment with her at 4pm. TiT.

And is case you don't know it already: Appointment times in Thai hospital are somehow strange - at least in the (private) hospitals which I visited. If you call or maybe after your first visit you might get an appointment for 9am on day x. And you might think that by 9:30 you should be out of there. No! Likely many people will have an appointment at 9am for the same doctor. And if you arrive at 9am maybe you have to wait until 10 other patients saw the doctor and maybe you will actually see the doctor at 11am. And that's when you decide next time you will come to your 9am appointment at 8:30 so that you are not the last person who arrives for that appointment. TiT! I don't think that is the same for every doctor in all hospitals, but certainly for some specialist doctors in some hospitals - including the expensive places.

If it is still noisy then hit the case with your flat hand. If you are lucky the noise stops - maybe even for a long time. No, I am not joking. It often works.

If it is a regular PC fan, then it's easy to replace it and no worry about getting an electrical shock. If it is the fan in the power supply, then an amateur shouldn't do that because you can still get an electrical shock even if the PC is off and the power is disconnected.

One of the things which I like about these WAGO connectors is that it is easy to mix stranded and solid wire, even with different thickness. And it's no problem to open and close them several times. The connectors and the cables are not damaged and can be reused right away. They are also service friendly. They have a little hole which allows to easily use a multimeter - but it's impossible to touch that spot with the fingers. And it's a lot faster to use them compared to traditional connectors.

My totally unproven theory is the following: If this would be a good deal then someone with money, probably Thai, would have bought those units, or most of the building, already. If it's hard to sell, then probably because it's hard to make money with that place.

I knew a PCB shop in Ban Mo, the "electronic town" of Bangkok. I don't see that shop anymore. In general, I am 99% sure you will find a PCB shop in that area just by asking the people there. There are literarily thousands of computer shops.
