  1. He mentioned the Angelwitch show earlier. That reminds me of the guy on stage with the pretty girl rubbing against him. And then he is blindfolded, and the finale follows... ????
  2. The grapevine was perfect. In 1996 I had a gf in G-Spot in Nana. She knew I was in Nana before I could make it to her bar which was maybe 100m away from the entrance. At that time the girls had the perfect communication network - without mobile phones or any technology. I also remember my first visit in a Thai massage place with lots of girls in the fishbowl watching Thai soap opera. I picked a girl and we went up the stairs to a room. The first thing she asked me if I mind if she continues to watch the soap opera on the TV in the room while I f@$#%$ her... And that was the time when we saw each other and agreed when we see each other again. Like: I see you tomorrow 2pm at the beach entrance of Royal Garden. And she was there, because there was no mobile phone to confirm or cancel or anything like that. And last but not least: When the girlfriend was for a week up country she was there up country without any communication. We could go out and no phone calls or messages at night: where are you? And obviously also no updates to her from her friends that her boyfriend was just seen here and there. Very different times.
  3. In my limited experience places which are designed for Thai guys have the kind of girls Thai guys want. And places for farangs have the kind of girls farangs want. And there is not much overlap. In places for Thai men you won't find any small cute brown Buriram girls. They have girls which are relative white and not super slim. And the behavior of the girls is different because it mirrors what the Thai guys want. Summary: I gave up with those places a long time ago because there are not the kind of girls which I want. And I am pretty sure I am not alone with that conclusion.
  4. Please don't expect logic or facts from Trump supporters. Anybody who still supports that guy after years of lies and years of incompetence and stupidity is too far in that rabbit hole.
  5. Don't worry, they don't last long. I saw them for a few weeks in sois near me. And then they disappeared one by one. I don't know if they were so bad installed that they came out by themselves or if anybody thought they look good and removed them. One way or another, they were gone in no time.
  6. I live in the tallest building in a numbered soi on Sukhumvit. It is easy to find on a map and easy to find without map. Just ask the motorcycle guys at the end of the soi or right in front of my building. But it is still amazing how many delivery drivers call me and want directions where the building is. And sometimes they are 50m away from the building and still don't see/find it. Probably many of those delivery drivers have that job because they are too stupid for any other job. And some are even too stupid to follow the GPS instructions or look at a map (for a very easy to find location).
  7. It looks a little different and that's about it. Likely at least 90% of what you are doing you do in programs like Word or Excel, etc. They work exactly the same in Windows 11 and 10. And be careful with that update! I don't know how often that happens, but I had one brand new computer with Windows 10 and I let Windows update to 11. Failure! The update seemed to work but when the computer started in Windows 11 there was no start menu anywhere. I researched that problem and I found out other people have the same problem. And no solution! At the end I formatted the system, and I installed Windows 11 from scratch. In my case that was no problem, because it was a brand-new PC without any data, and I had the time. But if that would have been a normal PC in use with data, I would have been <deleted> with that problem.
  8. I don't really remember. Probably they tried to fine me, and I run away. ????
  9. That convinced me. Next time when I need legal advice, I will just google it. And then I choose whatever link I like most. Your honor, it was written on Google, really!
  10. Last time I was in there they played YMCA and the dancers and half the customers started to sing and "dance". I rushed out as fast as I could. What a nightmare!
  11. Maybe someone mentioned him already. Have a look at the videos of this guy: Bangkok Pat - YouTube He seems to be nice and competent and mostly he knows what he is talking about. He has many videos about many areas in Bangkok.
  12. Same same. I tried to dance with some girls on those gogo stages 25 years ago when I was too drunk. But luckily I didn't do that for too long. ????
  13. Probably that was Angelwitch in Nana, 2nd floor left side. The owner knew what he was doing. But he sold the bar, long before Covid. And since then, it only went downhill.
  14. Thanks, I found them here http://www.29tire-motorcycletire.com/en/ and I just sent them a LINE message. Let's look how they react.
  15. The start of the video is from Billboard https://youtu.be/HxKBdGapTNI The video won't show here because it's age restricted. You should be able to see it if you have a (free) YouTube account.
  16. Real dancing and "dancing with glowing paint" are two completely different "sections". Most girls can't dance or are too lazy to do it. In my experience tequilas and tips help a lot. In some bars the bars give the girls Tequilas shots for free from time to time (I don't know how often). And most of the time that helps with the dancing and atmosphere. If I go in a bar I first look around for girls who can dance or who look like maybe they can dance. And then maybe I indicate to them that they should turn around or something like that. And then some girls switch on their "let's move that body" mode. I don't think these days there is any bar with many good dancers. And about the shows: They happen in some bar but not in many. It seems in general tourist like shows and local farangs (mostly) don't want them. I wasn't there for a long time, but I guess the highest chance to find shows are on Patpong.
  17. Why? Until now I didn't buy any of these accessories, but I guess screws are included - at least for Kohler, etc. I also guess that they include the screws which are best. Or not?
  18. In my existing but limited experience this is normally no problem. Just be careful with any jokes because Thais often don't understand them - even if they are obvious for us. And avoid drunk guys, especially in those areas.
  19. And did you see her? How is the food and does she like you? ????
  20. About factory reset: I agree, that is the best way to do this. But I am also sure many people have many accounts on their phones and they don't remember all those passwords and they have no backup. If Samsung would just factory reset each phone which they receive I am sure lots of people would go crazy. Like: My life is ruined, you deleted all my life... For that reason it is probably a good idea to factory reset it yourself - if that is possible. Or give them in writing that they should factory reset it. Many Thais who work with technology know enough English to be able to read and understand something like "factory reset", even if they don't speak much English.
  21. I have a Duke 390 since 4 years. I use is basically only within the city most of the time for short trips. The current tires don't look good anymore and it's time for new tires. But which tires and where should I buy them? Currently my bike has the following tires Michelin Pilot Street Radial Front: 110/70 R 17 M/C 54H TL Rear: 150/60 R 17 M/C 66H TL These tires are recommended in the manual. Also in the manual are Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact. Are both available in Thailand? Which are "better"? I am getting old and I don't use that bike anywhere near to what it is capable of. No extreme corners, no racing. I want a good grip in dry and wet conditions for daily riding. Should I buy those or other tires directly from KTM? Or should I go to a tire shop? Any specific tire shop? I don't really care about a few hundred baht price difference. I want that whoever installs them knows what they are doing, and I don't want old tires. What do you recommend? Where should I go, and which tires should I buy?
  22. For my bathroom renovation I need a towel rack and other accessories. My faucets are chrome and for that reason it is probably a good idea to have also chrome accessories. I want that they last forever, like 20 years, and the chrome should still look good after 20 years. Is that reasonable? What are the best brands for the quality? Until now I have the best impression from Kohler and TOTO and I bought faucets from those brands. Or is it better to use stainless steel? I guess that should last forever.
  23. I am sure soon after that he bought another large plastic bottle to close the gap.
