There is no superior. Both are made in a similar way, Vegemite has a few ingredients Marmite doesn't have, but preference is a personal taste.

I imagine Vegemite comes in a container along with many other imported Australian items, but for what it costs it may well get a first class seat on a plane.

Marmite and Vegemite bear no resemblance in taste. It's just a matter of preference, no need to start slagging Aussies. The term whinging Pom is given for good reasons.

A$3 for 1kg of Jasmine rice. It costs roughly A$2 in a 7/11 here.

You have to factor in cost of living, wages etc. Chalk and cheese.

My gripe for today. I understand there are shipping costs and tax, but how does a A$4.20 jar of vegemite cost nearly $12 (260 baht) in Thailand? If Australia imposed those kind of markups on Thai products I doubt they'd be able to sell a kilo of rice.

I received a "proof of life" form from C'link and my pension provider, both well after the cut off dates. I had to phone them to get an extension otherwise both pensions wpuld have been stopped, Both have been advised to only contact me by email as the post is so unreliable.

The letters I received yesterday were posted on the 9th of August, nearly 2 months.

You couldn't send an airmail letter by post to the US, why? How else can a letter or documents be sent?

I doubt many send cash in mail from Australia, even if they did I doubt this would cause a 2 month delay in delivery.

I don't mind a reasonable markup, but not nearly double the price on Lazada, that's just greed and they end up pricing themselves out of business.

How much is it going to cost you to fight it? As an ex cop you must know how many tickets were given to innocent people who didn't commit offences, ie speeding when they weren't, failure to indicate when they did, all in the name of revenue raising. Suck it up, this is Karma at work.

It's taking at least 2 months to receive airmail letters from Australia, that's ridiculous. Didn't take that long when mail was sent by ship. When I do get mail there's usually a few letters together, as though the postman/post office is holding onto them until there's enough to justify a delivery.

I just bought a fish pond pump locally for 680 baht. I should have checked price before, but price on Lazada is 400 baht including delivery, a 280 baht difference.

A few good new movies just landed. Deadpool and Wolverine, Strange Darling and Speak No Evil. All get good reviews. There's also The Wasp which I enjoyed. All available on TG and elsewhere.
