Been here 15 years and me and my Thai partner are still living on 20,000 baht a month, that includes water and electric. OK, own house so no rent to pay, but we eat very well on than 20K and despite some food price increases, it's still cheap to live here. Besides that, I love the feeling of freedom that I get in Thailand, I can build a pergola without planning permission, there's not a copper behind every bush waiting to pounce on you for some misdemeanor, there's no ethnic groups whining about their rights to practice their own laws, don't regret the move for a second.

Normally we pay on the 7th of every month at a 7/11, however this month the card keeps getting rejected after several attempts over several days. A phone operator at 3BB tells us that their system has changed, that now we pay in arrears, not in advance, so we don't need to pay until 7th of next month. There's been no notification of this either by texts or SMS, so not sure how we are supposed to know, and then we get the paper bill today saying we are outstanding for this month, so what the hell is going on?

I have a Lenovo AIO that I bought new from Lazada 7 years ago which has been trouble free, however the monitor is starting to lose pixels and I have a line at the top of the screen where any text is now unreadable. Think it's time for an upgrade.

Is there a mini PC (with Win 11) that has similar (or better) specs under 12,000 baht? That allows for another 5000 baht to spend on a monitor to keep the price roughly the same, ie 16-17000 baht.

Price is 16,000 baht or $467 US. I'd be happy for you to point out anything with better specs for a similar price, like I said just for home use no gaming.

Isn't there a limit to the generosity of GoFundMe donors? Surely people must be getting sick of these cries for help for people who were too stupid to take responsibility for their own welfare.
