  1. Thanks. Unfortunately just did 2 searches and it didn't have either. Looking for "The Cockfields" - thanks to whoever mentioned it recently. Hurawatch has the 1st 3 episodes of Season One only - the 1st 2 are very funny. Also looking for "90 Day Fiance" - started catching this reality show on the local cable package and got hooked - Hurawatch only has Seasons 1/2/3/8. Many on imdb despise this show which several accurately called "watching a train wreck" - part of the interest. TVF posters may find it especially interesting as it's all cross cultural relationships plus some older/younger couples as well. I would also like to recommend "Vikings" - Canadian/Irish co-production miniseries. Thanks to Spidermike for mentioning it. Was glad to find I disagree with most imdb posters who feel it's downhill after the 1st 3 seasons. I watched all 6. The 1st half of season 6 is awful - the worst male child actor of all time, and 1 of the female leads who's been very solid previously is not good although much is the script's fault. But interesting once through that dreck. Very solid series which kept my interest for I believe 96 45 - minute episodes. Some excellent actors, costumes, facial tatoos and definitely haircuts (e.g., Harald and his brother in all of those categories). Does anyone have other sites with free streaming libraries?

  3. Instead of downloading torrents I started using hurawatch.ru which has a huge library and streams the shows. But now I've encountered 2 shows I want to see more of and they only have bits and pieces of these. It's been very pleasant though not to have to deal with torrenting, so can anyone recommend some more sites which have film/TV libraries from which one can stream rather than download?
  4. I walk up 4 flights at the hospital because their elevator is too slow and crowded. After they take my BP reading, they almost always offer to take it again after I sit for about 10 - 15 minutes. Or else I ask them to do that. It is almost always back to a normal range on the 2nd reading. I believe as you note that hospital anxiety is part of the higher initial reading also, even if I'm not consciously aware of that anxiety. Also I recently bought a BP device with upper arm sleeve from Amazon - I think it was about 35 USD. Next time I go to the hospital I will bring it and check it against their reading.
  5. I would like to do this reporting full time. Can I get a Work Permit based on this and then a Work Visa as a Thai Government freelancer?
  6. Agree - Masterpiece. The best Ray Winstone, Ben Kingsley, and Ian ("IF I gave a f k") McShane ever. Entire cast brilliant. (Don't like Winstone or Kingsley otherwise). Great script. Winstone's sexy wife terrific. I read that the restaurant scene was the 1st scene filmed - Part of the film's excellence as the 2 couples seem to have known each other for years.
  7. "When entering visa exempt the airline would be likely to ask to see a ticket out of the country within 30 days." I've been aware of this and have complied with it, but I do have a question. My understanding of the rationale for this is that one may be turned down if one does not have a Visa, and the airline then has to take the passenger back to the point of departure. The ticket is some sort of assurance that the passenger has the financial means of repaying the airline for the forced return? But how does a ticket for a flight 30 days in the future help that situation?
  8. That explains it as well as anything else I guess. Asks for help, dozens of replies, happily resolves it and announces that but keeps the resolution secret! Ridiculous.
  9. The major carriers (service providers) you mean?
  10. Good of them to announce this before they've arrested the culprits, giving the scammers time to flee.
  11. Let the taxi drivers and others know you don't mind being price gouged/cheated.
  12. Chrome (and all other Google products) are Spyware. I would use any browser recommended here: https://www.privacytools.io/ PS - As the article notes, Brave is controversial and I was surprised to see them still listing it. I still use it on rare occasions.
  13. 1) No need for it. Browsers today perform many of the functions that the AV software performs. 2) Free programs exist to steal your personal info/data.
  14. Same same, pretty much. Plus they have absolutely ZERO phone cs. No live chat. No response to emails. I would not deal with any company with this situation - even more so with an airline, even more so with an airline during pandemic.
  15. thaicookingchef - I see you used the Laughing emoticon for the OP. What aspect of the boy being shot and ultimately dying did you find "Ha ha"?
  16. oMega69 - Is your Tinnitus - or that of anyone else reading this - caused or exacerbated by Covid and/or Covid vaccination?
  17. The policeman couldn't act as guarantor for his wife but asked his childhood friend to do it. Not a hint of financial problems down the road with that situation - being guarantor for a couple broke/likely in debt.
  18. Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole - 2 overly theatrical awful actors. Take a look at "The Bramble Bush" - Burton's scenes with Angie Dickinson are a joke - he's a stolid immobile rock while she acts rings around him. He got the costar he deserved in several films - Elizabeth Taylor - another ridiculous stiff. In "Cleopatra" and "The Comedians", they give a masterclass in bad lifeless acting. Richard Harris could be overly theatrical also, but in "Unforgiven" and even more so in "The Field" he is miles beyond Burton and O'Toole.
  19. simon43 - How did they find out about your Ham Radio activities? Monitoring/scanning bandwidths?
