UPDATE: I phoned the UK Future Pensions Department last week. Did the application over the phone. Surprisingly call was answered fairly quickly. I had previously downloaded and completed the forms from the gov't website, so had all answers readily availble. In fact I was asked for much less that I had entered on the forms. The official also registered me to top up before 5th April deadline. Once registered, you are in the system, andthey will get back to you, even if months after the 5th April. i was told that I WOULD receive a lump sum for any pension due from last last birthday when I came of pensionable age (66) up until the date I chose to take my pension. So pretty much the same experience as Simon43 posted a couple of weeks ago.. TIP: I bought one of those 003 packages from AIS that gives cheap calls. Make sure to pick the one for UK. You only have until 5th April to notify that you wish to top up. However if you phone before then, they will register you, and even if it takes a few months for them to get around to it you will be OK. But you do need to register before the 5th. I don't think they will be bothered whether you were working or not. They are only interested in if you paid into any other social security system or made any payments to the UK system or perhaps any tax due. . HTH

I am on 3BB in Bangrak and no problems here. It did go out about a week to ten days ago. I received a text message from 3BB that a cable was damaged in my area. Another text a few hours later that all was back to normal. On the whole, I am very happy with 3BB’s service. Pretty solid and consistant. Unlike my electricity supply. I did change a few settings in the router I am using (I have 3BB’s one in bridge mode) a few months ago due to Netflix buffering. Been OK since then. I’m wondering if you might have a faulty cable or loose connection somewhere.
