Pretty sure there was a thread about interesting Youtube Channels, but I can't find it. I know that we all have different interests, but sometimes come across channels that are worth watching in themselves. To start things off, here are a couple that I enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/@RickBeato What started out as a musical education channel has morphed into a much wider "everything about music" channel. So much so that Rick Beato has started doing interviews with some well known musicians, including Sting, Brian May and Peter Frampton. I am not a musician, but I find his "What makes this song great" analysis really interesting. He was once a music teacher, has played in a band, and was also record producer so he knows what he is talking about. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJyJKu3ysdceGqK_JaZFUNA This second one, Scotland's Mountains is just a Scotsman who enjoys climbing and camping in the Scottish wilds. I just like watching it for the scenery and photography. Which ones do you find interesting?

No. But she watched Mary Poppins last week. Only because when she told me, "Daddy. I have learned the longest word in the English language, ...pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, I told her about supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. So she watched the movie just for that. I just tested her, and she can still quote that longest word correctly..

I am 65. I do Muay Thai training 5 x 1hr per week. Not for fighting. I just enjoy it. Gets me out of the house, keeps me fit, and I have a laugh with the trainers. Lost 6kgs and I tend to sleep much better as well, so lots of upsides for me. There are guys quite a bit older than me that train there 5 times a week as well. They must enjoy it to keep doing it. It can't all seem like a chore.

Muay Thai 5 x a week. Just for exercise. Keeps my blood pressure normal. Reading. Watching old movies with GF's daughter. Trying to show her the good stuff. At 10 y.o. Titanic (1997) is old to her. The Terminator (1984), and Cool Hand Luke (1967) are positively ancient. ???? She keeps asking if she can watch Kill Bill. Don't know where that came from . Trying to improve my swimming technique...not very successfully. Looking after GF's rabbit.

Using a wide angle lens inside those tiny boxes to make them look bigger, distorts the picture too much. -
Thai Police Prepare for PM Election Day Protests
phetphet replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Exactly. Instead of streetwise celebrations for a new PM as voted for by the majority, the authorities already know there will likely be trouble due to the Senate shenanigans. -
If you kick her out, you might be able to find a foreigner lodger. That will give some company, perhaps a little protection against her sending anyone to make your life a misery, or even trying to threaten or hurt you., and even provide a little income. Alternatively employ a housekeeper for a small wage. I understand your desire to stay in your home, and you would have to check if this would be legal, but as a last resort, if things got really nasty and you are forced to leave, pack your bags and possessions, hire a back hoe and demolish to the place before departing for good.

Its OK to be confused about getting confused emojis. Happens to me all the time. it's quite confusing. You don't have to be wrong to get them. Just starting a thread can be enough as you can see in your OP here.

This Teva Store locator might help: https://teva.rev.co.th/locator/ I know it's not Pattaya but I saw them in Centralworld last month. Teva stall was on the side that overlooks Centralworld Plaza. $th Floor or below. Not sure which. HTH

The other thing to consider here is that the electricity supply is pretty dirty. All sorts of surges and dropped phases. Also ants that get attracted for some reason to circuit boards. I have had to replace the circuit board in my Smeg oven several times due to both ants shorting things out, and power surges burning things out. The last time, the Smeg technician told me it might be a good idea to turn off my oven at the circuit breaker when not in use as these power surges are working out to be quite expensive for me.

Is it okay to lie to your partner of 5 years?
phetphet replied to Isan Wanderer's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Until you get your usufruct signed, you have no rights to the property so if you intend to continue living there if things go wrong, get it signed in your name quickly.. Even then, if you split up and she wants it, she can make your life a misery. Also. Going by your figures of losing 200-400 baht / day, she is losing 6000 -12000 baht / month just on her phone games. If she is gambling elsewhere as well, that is potentially even more loss. Your suspicions will continue to eat away at you now so you need to find out what is going on.
