Is Thailand only getting the Black interior?

My brother in law ordered one in Australia with a blue interior.

So you can order a blue interior in Australia but it costs more and defers your delivery.

Black interiors are free and will be ready sooner

I expect the BYD Dolphin and Atto 3 to lead the pack again by big margins again come Oct  registration stats (belated sales stats).  I expect Seal sales will have very respectable Oct stats but since the Seal was only released in late Sep the Oct stats based "registrations" probably will not show full strength until Nov registration stats.  Probably follow the same ramp-up like the Dolphin which was released in July I think...showed several hundred registrations for Aug....then by Sep the registrations had went thru the roof.  Takes a while for the registration process (belated sales stats) to complete the process.

    EV sales charts are fascinating.

Take the Toyota bZ4X which has been on sale since last year. It sells for ฿1.83m after the Government EV incentive and it has sold only 22 cars this year.

With EVs now representing over 10% of total vehicle sales in Thailand and the top selling Japanese EV brand is ranked 24th it does not look good for legacy manufacturers

"From January to September, Thailand’s total vehicle sales reached 500,942 units, with EVs constituting 10.05% of this figure. This represents a significant shift from the previous year when only 9,729 EVs were sold in Thailand. The year-to-date 2023 sales surpass last year’s figures by over five times"

Update on the red Atto I'm been trying to buy.

Thanks for the update. Your dealer seems very busy, maybe my #3Q won’t take too long.

Looking forward to seeing the BYD sales figures over the next few months.

I already have a 7kW wall charger and can share between two cars until I get my second wall box.

I wonder whether this instruction applies to all LFP batteries:

    (from the owners manual)

I also wonder how many owners will abide by these instructions, let alone read the manual..........lol

My home Batteries are CATL LFPs and the manual says to charge to 100% once a week. Don't remember seeing about discharging to less than 10%. In fact my inverters would only allow the batteries to get to 22% SOC

Neta EVs to carry the first 4C LFP battery that adds 400 km after 10-minute charge

The battery’s capacity to be fast charged needs to be matched with a charger capable of charging at that rate.

You would be lucky to find chargers faster than 150kW in Thailand.

The economics of installing a single 500kW charger don’t make much sense as it could cost as much 6x150kW chargers to install.

    I’m happy with a 20-80% charge in 24 minutes.

Want to buy an EV here in Thailand but worried about flooding ?, have no fear the solution could be close at hand .

I think @JBChiangRai will be cancelling his MG Cyberster to get one 😉

I drove the Fomm 1 at the Bangkok motor show in 2019. Sales were originally quite strong but newer entry of "proper" cars like the Neta V for the same price in the EV market have reduced sales to a trickle which is a shame.

Don't forget you can charge for FREE at any BYD dealership, and the network is growing fast.

Saw this comment on the video I posted above. Anybody confirm that this true?

With MG I get free AC charging when I drop my car off for a service but otherwise you have to pay.

    Interesting with  BYD pricing :

AUS  seals are less expensive than Thai seals while

Aus dolphins are more expensive than Thai dolphins .

I did comment on the video as EcoHouseThailand explaining that in Thailand there are number of freebies which effectively drop the price which are probably not available in other markets.
