  1. OMG he’s back accusing everybody of lying again. Claiming to have driven a model 3 in BKK but several years, but Tesla only started selling in Thailand in December 2022.
  2. Much appreciated. I agree that the Feb and March figures are disappointing, but do you really think we will see less than 3,822 EVs sold in April? If we do then I will admit that EVs have a problem. If EV sales in April 2024 exceed 3,822 will you admit your projection was wrong? We will have to wait and see
  3. Reminder (Again): This is a discussion about EVs in Thailand. If you want to bash EVs in general save that for the EVs v ICE discussion If you don’t want to be mocked and ridiculed in this discussion then don’t post some random data that you are trying to pass off as Thailand data. Always post links so what you post can be fact checked, otherwise nobody will take anything you say seriously.
  4. What a Muppet! He thinks Stellantis sales in Thailand increased 65% 😂
  5. Or maybe something closer to home? Diesel prices have already started to creep over ฿30/L with Shell the first to raise prices.
  6. So March was a bad month for all car sales in Thailand, but worse for ICE cars as the relentless growth of EVs here replace ICE cars.
  7. I am sorry I don’t have an info on the financing for the Atto 3 but maybe @Pib our Atto 3 expert can help you. Here is the finance for the BYD Seal which is a more expensive car, but should give you some idea. It’s not a lease but finance purchase for less than ฿20k per month.
  8. I also bought a Deco the Hannah model after the Government EV incentive kicked in dropping the price from ฿50k to ฿30k. We charge it and 2 EVs from solar - the house is off-grid with no electric meter. The battery is removable and they sell the battery separately if you want a spare.
  9. Andrew's post above gave you the figures. He has the long range premium and I have the performance - a car that is very difficult to drive sedately. The roads where I live in Surin are mostly dual carriageway (4 lane) so I can use the acceleration to pass slow moving traffic in the fast lane. The traffic in Pattaya on the other hand.....
  10. Electric or Diesel SUV which one has more Luxury for the money?
  11. It would be helpful to know where you are located, if you are retired and what your monthly milage is. My EV has 580km of range which equivalent to 83km/day range if you charged once a week. My local Robinson here in Surin NE Thailand has 4 chargers and cheap rates at weekends. If I were you I would combine my charging with other activities like meeting friends for coffee. I can add 7km of range per kWh and can charge at 150kW/hour. So I can add 350km of range in 20 minutes.
  12. This statement of yours make makes me question whether you have ever driven an EV. Anyone who had actually driven an EV will know that the slowest AC Wall charger is 7kW. They don't make 3-5kW CCS type 2 wall chargers. That is why there are none listed on PlugShare. Yet you claim that they are the majority of chargers! Lie confirmed Now let's hear more about this Tesla model 3 that you drove in BKK for several years. How much did you pay for it and where did you buy it? Because this is sounding like a lie as well.
  13. Stupid people shouldn’t try anything too complicated like driving an EV or posting in an EV discussion when they have no knowledge or experience of EVs as they just end up humiliating themselves.
  14. I don’t like my EV I love being able to charge it at home for free from excess solar power I love that it comes with over 6 Tesla powerwalls of backup power for my house which means I don’t need PEA anymore I love the instant torque I love the 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds without spinning my wheels I love that it has perfect 50:50 weight distribution I love that it has an incredible low centre of gravity and goes round corners like it’s on rails I love the drag coefficient of just 0.219 Cd which is better than a Porsche Taycan I love the regenerative breaking and not having to use the brake pedal I love the adaptive suspension I love that the battery pack is a structural component, increasing torsional stiffness and so increasing handling limits I love the Torque vectoring which sends power to which wheel needs it most I love that it only has one gear I love that it has a very long wheel base I love that it is so silent to drive for me and other road users I love that I am not poisoning the pedestrians and motorbike riders around me when I drive or sit at the traffic lights I love that it has a front storage compartment where the engine would be in an ICE car I love being able to switch on the aircon while I’m still in the restaurant I love being able to do “Find My Car” because the car has a 5G chip I love the 8 year warranty for the car and battery I love 8 year completely free servicing and breakdown recovery I love the way it looks
  15. The only thing I can see is that you totally lack all ability to construct an argument. Next time try including some reasons, explanations and evidence. Then you won’t sound like you’re still in kindergarten
  16. In a country where most people drive 2 tonne pickups you are complaining about EVs because they weigh less? That’s why nobody but you is complaining about it 😂
  17. They can figure out that someone who never post any evidence to backup their claims is a BS merchant. I am not an EV evangelist. I have said many times that EVs are not for everyone. Someone like yourself who has yet to master the ability to use Google to check their facts before posting, well let’s just say that you would find EV charging apps a bit of a challenge.
  18. Lots of rumors on FB about the CyberTruck. The Tesla Thailand website still has the CT as “Learn” not order
  19. Why don’t you read the 5,000+ comments in this discussion and you will soon discern a pattern. When the discussion is between EV owners or EV owners and those considering EV ownership, the discussion is civil and friendly. Then when EV Haters arrive with their ignorance and lies the tone changes. Why don’t you stick to your discussions about attractive Ladyboys and leave discussions about EVs in Thailand to those who actually know what they’re talking about.
  20. You seem very keen to call people liars, so you had better make sure that you are never caught in a lie yourself. The majority of chargers on PlugShare Thailand are not 3-5kW, so that makes you a liar. The filter is not giving you accurate information and I have explained the reason for that. Most chargers have a photo and can clearly when it’s a DC charger
