My favorite beach resort in Jomtien used to cater to Eastern Europeans. Mostly Russkies, Belarussians, Ukrainians and East Germans. With their families, I found them to be delightful people and very receptive to striking up a conversation in English. And they all got along well with each other. In fairness, I did not party with them. Just at the beach during the day. And they weren't solo travelers (mongers). They were at the beach with their families. And, being a resort, they were tourists. Not long stay. Then circumstances changed, the Eastern European tourism dropped off and the place was inundated with Chinese tourists. Who were generally delightful, as well. I guess you generally find what you're seeking. And what you're giving off.

For starters, if MS Edge is showing a bunch of interweb traffic when I haven't actually opened it by clicking the icon, I'd want to delete it and its ability to phone home.

I'd be more curious how much network bandwidth Edge is using to phone home with my personal data, even when I don't invoke it by clicking the icon. Not that I don't have enough disk space, RAM, CPU, and bandwidth. More that I care about privacy.

Given that it takes at least 2 to do the payoff tango, I wonder why they decline to name the politicians being paid?

Honest question, because I don't know expenses and prices the UK that well... Given a recommended 30-35% maximum spend on housing and current interest rates, how may square feet can you afford to buy on that salary, let's say 41K? I'd venture to say it's probably zilch at 21K. In fact, can you even afford rent at 21K, without cutting into food and other non-discretionary expenses?

I wonder if there's more scrutiny now that Thailand has legalized weed? I'm not claiming that's the case. Just pondering... And wondering if anyone has some recent experience.
