  1. https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/4780301-hillary-clinton-2024/amp/ Among dozens more if you look... Going back weeks.
  2. The DNC hired Crowdstrike to investigate a hack of their system. I'd call that "heavily involved". Fact. The Mueller report debunked the Russian Collusion hoax. Fact. The rest of your post is responding to claims I didn't make.
  3. It’s interesting that the OP invoked Alex Jones. Because we’re about to see dual justice in action. He was sued into bankruptcy for claiming that a shooting event was a hoax. Not unlike dozens of Dems, lefties and MSM hacks did, just last week. I’m fundamentally against suing for $$ millions for hurt feelings, but I hope some free speech supporters are working with the Butler, PA families to sue the pants off those who claimed it was faked. If only to make sure that there’s equal justice on both sides of the political spectrum. But somehow, I doubt they'll be extracting any justice from the lefties who did pretty much exactly what Jones did. Which was stupid and despicable. But fundamentally the same.
  4. Yeah. And how about those idiots that kept repeating that the Gulf of Tonkin was a hoax? And the ones that kept saying over and over that there were no WMD's?
  5. Between what they did to Bernie and RFK, hiding Joes condition, the lawfare against Trump and his supporters, and their fight against border security and voter ID laws, I think that ship has sailed. Impunity is the order of the day for the Dem elite.
  6. Watching Alex Jones is like watching a blind squirrel. Sometimes he finds a nut, but it's always fun to watch.
  7. You mean the week of rioting and $ billions in damages? Compared to which, Jan6 looked like a school field trip to the Capitol.
  8. Nah. They'll blame it on Trump and the MAGAs, even if it's lefties burning stuff down.
  9. Members who had a little curiosity may have tested those "facts" and learned a little with some Googling. They may have even seen that Musk is claiming to have removed all Crowdstrike products from their systems. Others aren't curious at all... And they're proud of it.
  10. I don't think it was that complicated. Keeping in mind that the US is not, constitutionally, a 2 party country, they just saw the logistic nightmare of having to go back and do runoffs in case no candidate got a majority. That's not the case for local or even statewide elections where they can get it done in a few days. But when it takes months and months to collect ballots in a runoff, that would cripple the country. For example, what would happen if Trump got 40%, Biden got 40% and Kennedy got 20%? With today's tech, they (maybe) could have a runoff done and dusted in a few weeks. In the past, that would take months. With an electoral college, it can be done on the spot, even with 1800's tech.
  11. But that's a straw man argument. Using a sports analogy, if the NFL started counting field goals as 6 points and touchdowns as 2 points, the teams would spend more on kickers and less on QBs. They'd adjust their strategy for the new rules. The best teams would still win. It's the same with the electoral college. If they eliminated it, the parties would change their strategies for the new rules and the best candidates would still win. Bottom line, you play according to the rules as they are, not as you wish they were. I always thought the electoral college was a throwback to the olden days when it took 6 weeks (?) around S America to get from California to DC. No way a popular vote could work if you had to wait 6 weeks for the results (and wonder if they had BIC pens on the schooners).
  12. It may not help win the election. But it sure may when the history books are written. Probably after the 2028 election.
  13. Now that the thread has died down, how about a fun wingnut conspiracy? Elon Musk threw his endorsement to Trump right after the shooting. A few days later, the IT company that was heavily involved in the Russian Collusion hoax suffers what's being called history's largest outage, that could result in so many lawsuits they may not survive. The facts are true. But are they connected? Discuss...
  14. Good post. Honestly. That gives us something to discuss, even if I disagree. I'ma ponder that, and maybe reply. In case I don't get around to it, I wanted you to know I appreciate your response. Unlike a lot of them on here.
  15. While I'm pleased that they are going to prison, I question the wisdom of taking up bedspace for 4-5 years when there are so many truly violent criminals that are probably given lighter sentences (or even being released early) for lack of prison resources. Not to mention the cost, at what? Maybe 50,000 GBP per annum for each? I think a year or so would be plenty of time-out for them to think about the consequences of their actions. (Out of curiosity, do British inmates work on the inside or otherwise pay to defray the cost of housing them? Curious because I don't know the UK system)
  16. If I was a small retail shop or diner and Biden withdrew without endorsing Kamala, I'd be buying a lot of plywood for the windows. There's gonna be a run on it.
  17. It wasn't an MS outage. It was a Crowdstrike outage. We'll never know the whole truth, but that does paint it in a different light.
  18. So, what was it about his first term that you didn't like? C'mon. Use your words.
  19. I'm wondering where the idea is coming from that they won't be scrutinizing land border bounces like they do airside border bounces? Just because they eliminated the limit of 2, doesn't mean you can live in Thailand on exempt, any more than those why fly in and out today. I think it'll be awhile before we know how the new rules will be implemented. Personally, I'd like to see them go back to pre-coup when guys could actually live in Thailand on border bounces and perpetual ED visas. Maybe with a fine for overstay that doesn't cap out at 20K, but no blacklist if you pay the whole fine. I don't think the guys we lost when those loopholes slammed shut were any dodgier than many of the guys that are still in Thailand on whatever visa programs they're currently using.
  20. I hadn't even considered the implications for those who have to show monthly incoming money just to stay visa-legal. Wouldn't it be a kick in the nuts to get knocked back at your next extension for missing a month, no fault of your own?
  21. If there actually was a special prosecutor assigned for the case of a civilian on a plain vanilla firearm charge, my first question would be "why?". But if that's true, set aside the results (without prejudice) and try him again. Seems only fair. Bankrupt him some more, why don'tcha? Or you can wait for his Dad to get clear of this election thing and pardon him. Seems like that would save everyone a bunch of money. Personally, I care little about this case, because it's a distraction and delay tactic from the cases of financial shenanigans that may surface evidence that connects the sitting President. Those are the big wadiddlies. This case is small potatoes.
  22. You mean like when Biden claimed he was proud to be the first female black VP? That's not a very convincing litmus test.
  23. Look up Crowdstrike's recent history on any wing nut conspiracy website and you'll understand why MS may not be to blame. Or maybe they are... Early days.
  24. Here's a dangerous thought. Why don't we let the voters decide who's the threat? To the Dem elite, that's sacrilege. Letting the voters decide...
