  1. Also some that are no longer accepting new buyers for their COVID insurance.
  2. Agents won't bother with just a one month rental. Try AirBNB.
  3. Now you know and should expect that. Pattaya is a tourist city with the majority focused on squeezing the most they can out of each tourist and not worrying at all about repeat business or friendly customer service. I find all the vendors much more friendlier in Jomtien.
  4. But why is an IO in Issan cheaper than in Pattaya? Why do they get a bigger cut? @The Hammer2021 is very confused. ????
  5. They are if you're using them to bypass the financial requirements which are there for a reason. He clearly says he started the financial deposits after paying the agent for the visa. Also why they needed to be done in some IO in Issan and why the IO called them "dirty".
  6. Yeah no choice really. Better to just do things legit.
  7. No, as in he paid to bypass the requirements.
  8. Facial recognition for me and only works when you're staring directly at the camera.
  9. Got to enjoy the good life at such a young age for awhile at least. Very hard to believe a "mastermind" would leave his laptop unlocked/unencrypted and logged in as administrator so all his assets can be so easily seized. Seems like his wife and in-laws will be left with nothing too if they are seizing all the properties, money and vehicles.
  10. Just do cardless withdrawals with the bank app.
  11. They might have come from the stall next to it that was selling deep fried maggots and he got a freebie.
  12. Definitely give it some more time. I've been on an SSRI previously and I think it took about 6-8 weeks to fully kick in.

  14. Payment? 90 day reports are free. It's 90 days in Thailand, all days included.
  15. Unless you know him personally or I missed something, he said he's staying in an apartment with his GF so that could also mean they rented an apartment together too. If it's his main residence while in Thailand, him and the owner can be fined if he tries to go to immigration and one hasn't been done. I've stayed in many condos in Thailand and some owners insist on filing a TM30 right away and some don't want to do it and some tell me that they'll only do it if I need to go to immigration for some reason or they can get in trouble. Regardless, like I said, if the owner files a TM30 online for him, a screenshot would be fine.
  16. If the owner of the apartment filed a TM30 for you online, screenshot would be fine.
  17. I hate these pigeons with a passion. I don't understand why they can't just <deleted> in the air while flying or somewhere else like many birds do but specifically have to do it on balconies. I think there are some idiots feeding them by the condo when there are signs saying not to do that and then they come and diarrhea all over my balcony every single day. I had one who made his home on one of the AC vents on the balcony and would have explosive diarrhea there for a few nights that dripped down and all over the place. I caught him a few nights and scared the <deleted> out of him that he slammed into my balcony doors and then flew away and didn't come back
  18. 2 AZ and a booster of Pfizer. All shots gave me some arm pain. First AZ gave me a fever and flu like symptoms for a day. Second shot of AZ and Pfizer nothing besides the arm pain.
  19. No bribes and being more friendly will probably last a day after he's gone. Even when getting my Elite Visa sticker affixed, you'd think they'd at least have a somewhat friendly IO handling the process but nope, didn't look or acknowledge me at all for most of the time and a kind of unfriendly demeanor when forced to. Also tried to drag the process for a long time for invalid reasons. The Elite Personal Liason was the complete opposite though and very friendly and helpful and did her job well at least. Very happy to no longer have to set foot in immigration offices anymore as I'll just have an agent do the yearly extensions for me.
  20. Wouldn't surprise me, the banks make a killing off the 220+ baht fee for each withdrawal which is limited to 20k max per withdrawal at many ATMs and also the ignorant people who fall for the trick of letting the ATM/bank do the currency conversion at their much <deleted>tier rate.
  21. Same here. It's not cheap and I might not even take full advantage of it but as someone who has spent more time here the past 10 years than anywhere else, it's nice knowing that I can come and go as many times as I want without having to worry about any hassle.
  22. No idea unfortunately. Maybe if you say what country's embassy you submitted it to, someone can answer that.
  23. Thai Pass turnaround is much quicker now that they don't have to verify bookings with hotels. If it was me, I would reapply after getting approved for and receiving the e-visa, yes. I haven't seen the new iteration of the Thai Pass but the old one specifically asked information about your arrival/departure? date, visa etc.. so last thing you need is an Immigration Officer deciding to give you a hard time because of something not matching when it's easy to just apply again with the correct details. I've experienced nonsensical hassles a few times back in the day so just trying to save you the possibility of it happening to you.
  24. Even though the Thai Pass is only to check your vaccination and insurance, I would reapply, why risk problems or delays, the turnaround time is very quick now anyway.
