If he gives the stamp when the other officer already refused, he'd make him lose face. Seemed like he was one of the good ones and would given it otherwise but face is everything in Thailand. Hopefully when they com back they get the more reasonable officer. -

Try another agent. Or take a vacation to a city with more friendly immigration officers and make sure the hotel you're staying at does a TM30 for you. They shouldn't be giving you any problems though since you came in on a TR visa and COVID extensions were extended until March 25. -
There is Omicron ba.1 and ba.2 and apparently it's possible to get both. "Israel finds a handful of cases of individuals who were infected with original BA1 Omicron strain and have now come down with BA2 as well"

Exactly the same here. Apparently the benefits of the booster wear off after 4 months. I might go for Moderna next just to have some variety. All shots were free from the Thai government after our ambassadors guilt tripped them into it and all 3 shots were a hassle to get. But I'm a fat ass who eats like <deleted> and never exercises so they could be why I'm still alive. -

May I ask where that agent is based? As @ubonjoesaid, different offices will interpret it differently like usual. They were telling someone else they could do it but it was for a lot more than what they usually charge, I guess things changed.

Probably say it was sent in error. I've heard that agents do the same thing to help people meet financial requirements for certain visa extensions.

There was an issue that it was blocking an important royal statue, then they agreed to lower it I think but I think also money problems as well. And I agree, good luck but it's definitely an eyesore and something should be done eventually, I'd hope.

Yeah I'd be thankful for a neighbor who uses the balcony to smoke. I've had smokers on my floor who smoke all day right inside their room and you smell it as soon as you get out of the elevator and all over the hallway. And goes into my room unless I have the AC and fan on.
