  1. I would just upload the 2. They're not gonna test your blood and deny you entry because you're too protected.
  2. Was just a suggestion because I know the ones in Bangkok for 5-6k include the one (or two depending on your time of arrival) night, test and pickup from the airport etc... As we know, these things tend to not always be ready and running smoothly right on the first day. Always best to wait at least a week or two after the launch if you have that option.
  3. The test is included in the prepaid AQ/SHA+ one night package, maybe that's what is confusing you?
  4. Don't get too excited ????, apparently might be an option again in a few months, especially if their "no quarantine" reopening is a failure. There's always "legal" options for people under 50 who have the money and want to stay without getting married. Agents won't be going hungry.
  5. All agents saying volunteer visa is no longer an option as of now.
  6. Definitely suspicious. I would contact your bank and get a new card if you don't have a PayPal or did nothing at all that would initiate this kind of transaction.
  7. Morchana is for them track your movements as a requirement for vaccinated and sandbox tourists not doing ASQ.
  8. My mistake. It seems like they have taken down the Morchana Android link or it's not accessible within Thailand. https://www.dga.or.th/document-sharing/dga-news/18386/
  9. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mor.promplus
  10. Cashless is the best, especially in Thailand where you have to worry about getting the correct change back when paying with big bills in tourist cities. I just hold my debit card over the reader, the cashier doesn't need to touch or see my card, get my receipt and much quicker than cash in my experience.
  11. The face recognition thing is weird, must be new. The car not moving thing is the Grab version of a taxi driver asking you where you are going before you get in, they make you wait without intending to pick you up, hoping that you'll cancel if they feel the trip isn't worth it for them. By you cancelling instead of them, it doesn't reflect badly on them but I report it anyway because they are intentionally wasting our time.
  12. I believe the reason is the recent debacle where many people had close to 100+ transactions of 34.15 baht taken out of their accounts by some overseas mobile gaming app company so I'm assuming they've just decided to disable all transactions. It sucks because I can't even renew my Netflix Thailand subscription with my debit card anymore even though it's charged in baht.
  13. If the Thais are feeding them then they feel some compassion/sense of ownership towards the dogs and if they find out you have taken matters into your own hands, they might decide to do the same with you. Best thing to do is if you can't beat them then join them, feed the dogs your scraps and they will be happy to see you and not bite/attack the hand that feeds them. The foreigner afraid to ride his bike can do the same. Once they've staked it out as their territory with an easy food source, there is no getting rid of them as Thailand doesn't really believe in culling strays.
  14. Yeah I can imagine. Almost all Thai toilets have a drain unlike western toilets, so it's so much easier to just spray the whole thing down while cleaning.
  15. I've been all over Thailand and almost all the toilets I've used, whether in restaurants, service stations or pay toilets near bars have been clean. Complete opposite to my home "first world" country where the majority of public toilets stink, are filthy, half the toilets have unflushed <deleted> or <deleted> all over the seat etc.. I do agree about the no paper or no soap but I do as the Thais do and use the cistern of water and I have antibacterial spray with me.
  16. They've been starved of brown envelopes the past few years so they're more willing to accept one if you are willing to offer.
  17. I heard it was toned down because there was a lack buffalos this year due to COVID-19 entry restrictions.
  18. I volunteer to do the research on this and get exact figures for you OP. At one or two a day, it could take some time to get you an accurate answer though but I'm willing to take one for the team.
  19. The amnesty only covered people who weren't already on overstay/here illegally so it wouldn't have made a difference for this person.
  20. You must not have heard of the foreigners who have caused the violent death of other foreigners in Thailand and been seen a week or two later by several people out and about like it never happened. If you can buy your way out of manslaughter or severe drug charges, a 3 year overstay is nothing. @impulseis correct though, finding the agent and being able to afford the cost is the main issue and nobody is going to post that kind of agent's details on a public forum.
  21. Nah, there's no excuse to not have 1900 baht for the COVID extensions. It's not an issue of morality, it's following the laws of the countries you are a guest in.
