You're forgetting that deaths lag cases. There could suddenly be 1000 new cases tomorrow but still 300 deaths from people infected many weeks ago so today's deaths don't tell us anything about today's number of cases.

This is not confirmed yet and has nothing to do with Pattaya as each Governor can choose whether or not to follow these proposed relaxations or not if they get approval. It seems targeted towards Bangkok as more people are fully vaccinated there or will be soon.

I've stayed there for a month last year. The keycard entry door was broken for the whole duration but there's always a security guard at the desk anyway. Not somewhere I'd buy or rush to stay again but that's the case for Jomtien in general.

Many anti-depressants are known to fix that issue, I think some are even prescribed specifically for that and should be available at pharmacies.

Out of nowhere I'm getting warnings on my TrueWallet app that I have to schedule a video call and provide either a work permit, alien ID card, Thai driver's license or student certificate, none of which I have. It doesn't say how long I have to provide this but it says for the continued use and due to new anti money laundering laws in Thailand. Anyone else use TrueMoney Wallet and get this? Not a huge loss if I can't use it anymore but it is convenient at 7-11.
