An ATM could not be any more user friendly. Put card in, choose English, put in PIN/password/secret code, push button for withdraw money, money come out, take money. Not sure why you'd need a tutorial or to take photos of each screen. Yes, the password you generate for ibanking is a temporary password that you'll need to change after using it to first login, as a security measure. If you want to transfer more than 50,000 baht a day, you need to do a facial scan, if not, then you don't. Anything else, like you said, it's the bank's job to help you and it sounds like they're gonna need a lot of patience.

Seems like the Wise transfers sent through Kasikorn arrive instantly but they use Bangkok Bank or another partner for larger transfers and that's when I see delays, even though my account is with Bangkok Bank as well, it makes no sense.

Yeah mine worked out to something like 0.12% interest and then they withhold a chunk of it. Horrible but whatever.

It's on you to secure your phone and the apps installed on it. I use the Wise app exclusively and it won't open or do any transfers without my face authentication. If my iphone is ever lost or stolen, I can easily just mark it as such online, wipe all the data and it becomes a useless brick that can't even really be sold even for parts anymore.

Yeah I am subscribed to the 15 baht per month account alert plus. Unsubscribing and resubscribing or something else I/we fiddled with seems to have fixed it for both of us. So I guess it was just an issue on our end somehow. Appreciate all the responses either way from everyone.

Weird. For me and my Thai friend, all SMS/Push notifications stopped after June 10th. Email notifications still work like I said. Thanks for confirming.

I get the emails but not the push notifications or even in app notifications and no SMS.

Anyone else no longer receiving notifications from the mobile app when doing transactions? I used to get a push notification from the app and an SMS because I subscribed to the alert service.

Yeah bad communication on their part was my issue. I've done multiple transfers this week though and all have been instant.

Give it time. Mine took 12 hours to hit my Bangkok Bank account after Wise said the transfer was completed and successful which before always meant it's already in my bank. Wise seems to use Tranglo SGP as their banking partner to transfer funds, at least in Thailand, could be an issue with them, who knows.

Yes, my transfers have been delayed lately rather than the instant transfers it used to be.

I know Bangkok Bank does a lot of overnight maintenance on their app/mobile banking but if it has happened to you more than once, probably not that. I don't recall ever trying to pay with scan to pay after midnight so I can't confirm if it has happened to me.
