  1. I'm taking the family for a trip around Cambodia next week. I booked it all on booking.com and there was no way to buy insurance for the trip. Anyone know where in Bangkok I can buy insurance for it?
  2. The whole thing is a non-issue. You can say that the "twitter" brand was well known - but everyone can still go to twitter.com or use twitter app and tweetdeck apps - so basically nothing has changed from the perspective of the odd man in a cave that didn't hear about the rebrand. The rebrand itself makes little sense to anyone other than Musk, I think. It's not going to attract more people for sure. Not can I see it attracting less. As for the metaverse - it's a huge flop and will remain so. Not all technology advances will appeal to consumers, and the metaverse is of that ilk. No doubt also - despite millions of takers, Zuckerberg's attempt at a Twitter rival will also flop due to people just waning off the platform. Twitter/X has a vastly superior user base and Zuckerbergs @ - has a few major disadvantages to Twitter, that will ultimately see it's demise. One of them being the lack of a desktop app.
  3. Well - it's still a public place as the staff would be seeing it. As for how much trouble - my take is he'll have a hard time buying his way out as he's not what you'd call 'discreet'.
  4. The guy effectively stripped down to his (women's) underwear in a public restaurant. I think the police anywhere would have arrested him.
  5. How did they evade tolls? Usually the barrier is down until you've paid...
  6. So what happens if he doesn't get enough votes? He is the sole candidate after all.. Who will be PM in this case?
  7. He should have chosen his location more wisely. Doing this in a very nice 5 star hotel is idiotic. Doing it in Soi Cowboy wouldn't have had the police called. Not that I advise wearing skimpy lingerie in trips to Soi Cowboy - but what did he expect, given the location?
  8. It's as clear as day. You only have to watch him lose his thread whenever he's speaking off script. It's a shame he's suffering but he's not the man in charge. Put me back on ignore anyway, I preferred it that way.
  9. He's clearly suffering from some sort of disorder - it brings the whole presidency into question. He's not the person in charge, not a chance.
  10. At the end, he references getting in trouble for going off script. In trouble with who, exactly? It's why I don't get the line "Biden is trying to Jail Trump" - I don't think Biden has anything to do with it. It's his handlers that are clearly pulling the strings.
  11. So what does Biden mean when he says things like "They won't let me answer questions today" - who is the "we" that is telling him what to do?
  12. The Daily Mail is hardly a reliable source. The Beano is more reliable.
  13. His handlers did that, Biden is too out of it to do this himself. He is quite clearly being handled every step of the way - they just can't control him enough to hide his mental state though.
  14. The left cannot process the fact that just because someone endorses you, doesn't mean you in any way endorse them back. That's what's going on here.
  15. I would have agreed with that back in the early 2000's but the military are far worse.
  16. But the witnesses only said that she'd told them about the event afterwards, there's still no actual evidence. Except Donald's famous words about "grabbing them by the wotsit"
  17. RWD with traction control and beat the M2 competition around Nurburgring, so it goes round bends.... ????
  18. I reckon my 390hp roadster would make mincemeat of your 275hp Kona - bends or no bends ???? There's always something faster on the roads... We did have to run it in though - I think it was 1000km and I never push it when the engine is cold either.
  19. He was CNN's Tucker - glad he's gone.
