CEASE IMMEDIATELY ALL THE MONEY DONATED. Take the girl into protective custody with Social Service. The fact that he is who he is should be enough to show that the child is in danger. Birth records would show if there were any anomalies with the birth. Oh yeah charge them and put them in jail awaiting trial. May not have to worry about trial.

The thing that Thais ddo not realize is that lowering the Fuel, electric, BTS costs is nice sounding but really people forget that someone has to pay the difference. PTT still has to pay the market price. so it works like this : lower price at pump + more income tax = fuel price lower electric price people pay + tax dollars or less maintenance of the system BTS the red line is an easy drop because the line is brand new, BUT it is still going to cost 80 million baht loss a year. Who is going to pay that simple taxpayers that don't use the system as well as those that do? People are still going to pay the same price if not more, just in a different way. At least Uncle Tu kept the deficit lower. Imagine if Srettha instead of giving everyone 10 k he took that money and added it to people who are retired and need the money.

Gordon Ramsay’s group set to open 14 restaurants in Thailand
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
My god thank you for the laugh. You do realize that almost all if not all the restaurants that he visited were a. In hawk up to their eyeballs. b had incompetent ownership c. just did not have the location or ability. If you look at the immediate follow-ups is that they were able to make money and had a great turnout. Then they either went back to the old ways did not listen at all or were so far behind they lost licences and the government shut them down. la galleria went 6 years after he left https://www.realitytvrevisited.com/2012/06/us-season-6-la-galleria-33.html Then there was https://www.realitytvrevisited.com/2013/05/us-season-6-amys-baking-company.html -
Gordon Ramsay’s group set to open 14 restaurants in Thailand
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
First Ramsey will not be cooking. second I think this restaurant will be like many. For the 2024 business year, it will do great as a novelty. Yes it will h ave it's regulars but I think most Thais will want to get their photo op of them and their food for facebook or IG and then that will be it. -
PM admits political divide in Thailand is difficult to tackle
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You do realize that these grip and grins in outside countries are put together by the embassy who only make sure the right people are there. -
This may sound crazy but I have to wonder if the country is any better off with this mickey mouse club they have now or when he was in power. Time will tell but at least he was ot openly spending so much money on such stupidity.

Gordon Ramsay’s group set to open 14 restaurants in Thailand
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Another group of high priced restaurants in high priced malls. EMQuartier seems to have a lot of great stores the only thing is that I seldom see anyone buying in any of them except Kinokuniya. Just like all these office buldings that they are bulding I have a feeling that there is going ot be a bust in the next 10 years. -
Actually, a lot of suicide patients and attempters do it in public or where they can be found if they are at the last stage of trying to get help or find a way out. I personally know of 1 guy who attempted it with pills and booze because he was sp frustrated with is life. He called the military VA and told them what he was doing and what he had done. Luckily for him, the police came and investigated. How do I know this is true the person who did it was me and it was my second attempt. While on my 72-hour, mandatory hold met a lot of people like me who had reached the point where we felt there was nothing left but pain and, through various methods, had attempted only to be found by loved ones before. I also know of people who found that things were too hard and that everything was going pear-shaped and killed themselves by hanging and rifle. The biggest question everyone had was why. Not why did he do it, but why did we not notice something was off? The biggest hint that I have seen and heard of is that a person who has been depressed and upset all of a sudden seems to be happier. That is because they have made the decision usually and are at peace with themselves. The challenge with most suicides is that you do not know the person is contemplating it or going to carry it out until it is too late. People that are depressed and or think life sucks need help. No, it is not always a Psychologist but it sometimes can just be a friend spending time and talking. letting them tell the story and not trying to tell them that it is not that bad. That things will get better. Sorry, it is that bad in their mind and in their mind it will not get better it is only going to get worse.

Red Line train fare to be reduced to Bt20 by New Year
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The challenge is that the location of the Red Line ending in Rangsit is so out of the way. Yes, they will get more riders but the problem is going to be parking for all the people that drive to the stations. Even at Khu Kot with it's "high" ticket price if you are not parked by 630 in the morning you probably are not going to get a parking spot. You can do this with this line for awhile because everything is new so there is very little maint cost. Let's see what happens when they raise the min wage, and things start to need repair or sched maint. Yeah, the other side of things is where is all this money coming from and not even taxing people who live here from out of the country is going to help. People are going to think all these things are great and wonderful until the bottom falls out. Considering the beating the Baht is taking this week it will only get worse. PT has always been a give the people what they want be populist nd be nice. Reality has nev er been in the vocabulary. If I was Srettha I would be looking at getting out of the position fast before things go sour and he is blamed in court just like the Shin family has all dealt with. -

I am sure the police portion of the UK embassy was told and would have been involved to some extent. I would have a hard time thinking that the body is still available for police to look at, The bottom line is no matter what country, if it looks like a suicide there is a note that explains the suicide most police forces would label it a suicide.

OK I bite how does putting people and the country in more debt help anyone or anything. I thought people were supposed ot be trying to get out of debt. Taking out a loan at age 50 mens that you will be further in debt and have less money to live on when you get our pension. Remnds me of the 200,000 baht off taxes car deal. That worked so well banks are still trying to collect and resell cars.

I think Thaksin is going to have bigger fish to fry and it may start in February. Once he is out of jail, then the promises that were probably made by the military will cease to exist. The military and elite know that they screwed up. They now need time to figure out how to get the Genie back in the bottle and that is going to mean making PT look bad and trying to be a nicer more forgiving group than the MFP. Making the PT look bad is going to be easy history shows that they like to shoot themselves in the foot. The challenge with making PT look bad is that MFP will be there to give the people a better choice. The MFP will be the hard problem and that is going to take more work if there is a chance. It is going to mean that ALL levels of government (including him who remains nameless) are going to have to give the people something to make them happy.

The challenge is that like everything else things change. People are realizing that they have less money to spend so are staying closer to home. They are looking for things that are more family oriented.(something Thailand is not). Phuket used to be a family location as well as the nightlife. Pattaya is geared toward the single male. Bangkok is geared toward single males or people who come here to buy expensive things cheaply. The single males are spending their money in select areas and are not buying clothes or gong to movies they are spending the money on Beer and girls. I said it before and will repeat myself. Just like Vegas is redefining what they are adding sports teams and attractions for the family as well as the casinos Pattaya and Bangkok need to redefine themselves as well as the country for tourists and strt to look at finding ways to compete with China, Vietnam and the Philipines for businesses.

PM Srettha might move to live in Government House
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The house has been empty and relatively unused for 9 years. I am sure with the weather and time, there will be issues. Also, it is not uncommon in any government or country for the new PM to want renovations or changes. It could simply be a different wall colour. -
