What about people who decided they wanted to retire here about say 15 years ago, because the rules then were far easier than they are now? I would never retire here today under the present system which treats you like a prisoner on parole with the ridiculous 90 day reporting. -
I will never overstay, but if I do not agree with any laws, I will ignore them and just break them if I can find a way round them.

Your Lucky. Mine is full of intermittent faults, sometimes I cannot even get the alarm to go off so I have to switch the complete phone off and turn back on. If all these faults would stay then maybe I could get them fixed.

I did not say they were all stupid, I said that most of them are, and I stand by that. Most, yes I mean most Thai drivers and motorbike riders are stupid and not fit to be behind a steering wheel or handlebars.. -

DrJack54 is only trying to be helpful, not BSing his way out of anything. Both him and Ubon Joe are very helpful for posters with immigration problems. They cannot always be on the ball when IO's all over Thailand are always making up their own rules.

How are they going to know if you don't tell them? Then again do they only rent for two or three days at a time, which will not make it worthwhile to rent a big bike at all.

I have also found that to be the case, a few days ago I had to travel 15 Ks to the nearest town to get any milk and there are two 7-11's and a Lotus in my village.

In a earlier post I mentioned Villa Market as the worst value supermarket, I had forgotten about Foodmart in Jomtien as I was only in there once and due to their prices have never been back. Is the aforementioned the only Foodmart in Pattaya? I haven't seen any more.

IMO the worst supermarket for value is Villa Market.
