I find copious tattoos make a person look low class.

But do they really indicate how low the person's IQ is?

As Marge Simpson said "It makes you look so dangerous".

Is that what they are going for? Looking dangerous?

The odd tattoo is one thing, but can you imagine the people who are well of financially ie MP's, Bankers etc (I'm referring to the UK here) being covered in tattoo's? I do understand that some people in the sport and entertainment industry are covered in them. These people are not generally known for their high IQ's.

It is very highly likely that you are supposed to receive a physical card. It is incredibly unlikely that a virtual card would be charged; they are almost always free.

KTB has no travel card which is exclusively a virtual card. But it is possible to withdraw from an ATM without the card, just as it is possible nowadays with many banks through their standard bank App features.

I think you have put yourself into a great deal of confusion. Virtual cards have been around for a long time and had no special ability to withdraw from ATMs without a card. In fact that was one of the ways that their functionality was limited.

If I was you I would download the NEXT app. See if you can locate the travel card on it and figure out the features for making an ATM withdrawal via the App.

When you have the chance you should then go to the branch which issued you with the travel card and ask them for the card.

I have tried that but none of the staff can speak any English.

There is a travel card on my Next app. I think that's what you mean. it is not an individual card like an ordinary bank card. I will just have to find out how to use it. Thanks.

I have the Next App on my phone though I think you may have something there, I will have a look through it.

  5. I have a Krungthai Bank Travel card and due to language problems cannot get a straight answer from the local bank staff. It is not a card as such and I know I can use it in the UK to draw money from my account in Thailand using any ATM. Please excuse my ignorance, but how can I draw money from a UK ATM without putting an actual card in it?

There are many Brits in Pattaya when i venture to those areas, and regulars. Most who sit their long term, are on some form of benefits back in the UK, some setting up accounts in Phillppines - these people look thick as anything but when it comes to fiddling the system suddenly turn into Steve Jobs.

They're all racist too, and blame all the issues on immigrants, meanwhile they themselves are fleecing their own country.

"meanwhile they themselves are fleecing their own country."

Can you please give an example of this, I mean what benefits are they claiming?

Many Brits i meet who live in Thailand, are on some sort of benefits from the generous UK, more so after Covid. Absolute parasites. Then they pontificate on muslims..

    Awful.

OK, "absolute parasites." I do not agree with people on benefits living abroad then claiming from the UK government, but what about UK MP's? They are even bigger parasites, some have other jobs ie Lawyers and Company Directors etc, while drawing their full MP's salary, and what about the ones claiming second mortgages for other homes at the UK taxpayers expense?

A Travel Card is a virtual card issued by Krungthai Bank which allows you to transfer money from them to you if you are in, ie the UK.

Three places I've been during Songkran which are chaos, Pattaya, Kanchanaburi and Bang Saen. Pattaya being the worst, it's mayhem and drags on for a week to a greater or lesser extent. If you're a Songkran lover, Pattaya's definitely your place.

I deliberately stay local during Songcran as I know all it will take is some Farang to throw water over me and there will be severe consequences.

A PR puff piece for this hapless administration. She has accomplished next to nothing. That entire family is so toxic at this point. They hoped her youth would fool people into thinking that she was progressive. She is just a younger dinosaur.

She is moving Thailand backwards at a breakneck pace.

That may very well be true, but I would still have her as "PM" rather than the soldier who led an illegal coup and stayed in power for nine years.
