Best way to self-pay for operation
Should be able to pay by bank debit card (which often double as pre-paid credit cards). Look on the app to see what limits are set, you can probably change those. I don't know if they will ask for deposit upfront or not as when I had surgery there it was covered by insurance.

Recommendations for Bangkok hospital and doctor gall bladder removal
Gall bladder cysts are quite rare but do exist. GB polyps would be more common than cysts. Most are benign but they can be -- or become - malignant. It is recommended to remove GB if there is a polyp of size 1 cm or more provided it is a true polyp and not a pseudopolyp, since larger polyps are more likely to be malignant. Might also be recommended for smaller polyps if there are other risk factors present or pstient has symptomatolic GB inflammation. Cancer of GB is more common in Thais than Westerners especially those from Issan area.

Recommendations for Bangkok hospital and doctor gall bladder removal
First of all, if your friend's wife was told this at a Thai government hospital it is almost surely true. The public hospitals do not rush to operate and will indeed try other approaches first unless the stone is really large or causing blockage. Secondly, GB removal does not limit proper fat metabolism much if at all. The metabolic pathways remain unchanged, what differs is just the amount of bile available at any one time and simply avoiding eating too much fat all at one go is usually enough. (How much is too much, is highly individual but easily figured out. It is not total fat intake that matters but the amount at one sitting). Now, if she was told this at a private hospital, and she is asymptomatic (which you did not specify) then yes, another opinion should be sought and I would suggest to do that through the public hospital system (I am assuming she is Thai?). Try one of the Profs at Chula's after hours clinic https://spcweb.kcmh.or.th/users/users/searchDoctor (select Gastrointestinsal and Liver diseases, there are a number of Professors l sted).

My Blood Pressure Numbers are always Normal - I'm Confused .
There are 2 types of stroke: Throboembolic - due to occlusion of a blood vessel by a clot. 2 - Hemorraghic, due to a blood vessel rupturing. You almost certainly had the first type (because you'd be less likely to still be posting in here if you'd had the second). It is the second for which hypertension is a major risk factor, not the first.

Back Pain
Exactly why the MRI needs to be read by a very experienced spinal specialist. If you see the doctor I recommended, he will not even look at the MRI report you got. He will call up the images himself and read them in the context of decades of specialized experience and your specific symptoms and findings of physical exam. He will not be misled by common findings in older spines that do not account for your symptoms (as less expert doctors often are). Surgical results are good IF the need cause of the symptoms and need for surgery (and, if so, which type) was accurately identified. Which reverts back to the above.

Toe - Maybe amputation would be the kindest cut lol
Amputation would be an extreme and unnecessary measure and I much doubt any surgeon would agree to do it. See an ortho specializing in foot & ankle problems. Where are you located?

Back Pain
Without a proper evaluation by a spinal specialist it is impossible to say anything. Depending on what is going on, a short course of medications that reduce inflammation and nerve pain might or might not help; physical therapy might or might not be indicated; an epidural injection might or might not help. Or it might be something only surgery will help. Impossible to say. Best spinal specialist in Thailand is https://www.bnhhospital.com/search-doctor/entry/4093/ You will need MRI snd Xrsy. Xray should be done at hospital as doctor has his own protocol for it. But you csn save quite a bit by getting the mri (lumbar spine without contrast, assuming it is lower back pain) at www.mrithailand.com

Online Medicine Purchase
Which did you contact, Medisafe or Medtide? And did you ask by generic name (Alfuzosin) or only by brand name? Flotral is just one of 3 brands of this available in Thailand. Others being Xatral and Afzoline.

Radiating leg pain
Where in Thailand are you? If you go to ER should get U/S then and there. Blood test (d-dimer) and u/s being essential to ruling out DVT. PE is much more than a drag itcan be immediatly fatal. Aspirin does not dissolve clots. It can help prevent new ones thtough platlet inhibition.

Radiating leg pain
Worsening pain on flexion of the foot, while not in itself diagnostic, is consisent with a DVT. Aspirin is not an effevtive treatment and will not help dissolve the clot if you have one. It does have some utility in prevention of future clots...but also carries a risk of GI bleeding. Yoh should not wait for the 26th. You will need an ultrasound. If it were me I'd just go to ER (A&E). Today. Better safe than sorry.

Sinus Surgery
I recommend you consult this doctor: https://www.saintlouis.or.th/doctor/dr.songklot-aeumjaturapat/fa5a6125-2b55-4113-ac50-8c94d64e7300 https://www.medparkhospital.com/en-US/doctors/assoc-prof-dr-songklot-aeumjaturapat https://www.bangkokhospital.com/en/bangkok/doctor/dr-songklot-aeumjaturapat Same doctor different hospitals. The first hospital will cost the least (among private hospitals). I think he is also at Chula in a teaching/supervisory capacity. Sinusitus does not usually require surgery. Only if it is chronic and does not respond to vonservatuve management . See what Prof. Songklot recommends.

Radiating leg pain
With calf pain need to rule out DVT. See a doctor. Peripherslal arterial disease also a possibility. Either way, not something to try to self treat.

Ear syringing service?
I don't think your issues are due to retra8ined water even though it feels like thta. More likaly wax impaction and/or possible infection (since you mention pain). Either way see an ENT.

Seeking Keppra and Atorvastatin
Medisafe almost always has Atorvastatin. Did you ask via Messenger? Online search on their website is not effective. Have to chat via Messenger. Likewise I'm sure Fascino would have both, though there is not a full branch near you....and they might only have imported brand of Keppra. Online search doesn't work for Fascino either. Might be possibel to Libe message them though. But, not very convenoent to your location. If (after chatting via Messenger) Medisafe doesn't have what you need I suggest these pharmacies which stock cheap generics: Wholesale pharmacy on Pradiprat Road, just a short distance from Huay Kwang BTS, and on the Pradiprat portion opposite of Big C. Walking from the main intersection, the pharmacy is located about 60 meters on the left. Por Bor Pesat pharmacy on Sukhumvit 71, Klong Tan, at the intersection with Petchabury/Pattanahkhan Rd's, even soi side..the very last storefront before the intersection Roong Rote Pharmacy on Soi On-Nut (Sukhumvit Soi 77), just about 50 - 75 meters fromSukhumvit Road, on right side.

Anyone have experience recovering from knee fracture
some swelling towards end of the day in the injured leg is not unusual. More frequent breaks with foot elevation during the day may help.

Recovery after spinal decompression surgery
It is saying use of the OR for 1 hour. It looks like these notes relate to how the price quote was derived. The 3 nights was for purposes of price estimation. You will not be required to stay longer than necessary. Once the surgery is over, you've been able to stand & walk OK, and not having much pain/needing much in the wsy of narcotics, you can discuss discharge with the surgeon. Could be less than 3 nights and if so, final price will be less.

Anyone have experience recovering from knee fracture
First of all, return to the ortho doctor to assess healing progress. If things check out OK, given that the swelling is in both legs, possible that it is unrelated. Bilateral edema can be due to a numbet of things including cardiac issues. How old are you? When did you last have a complete check up? Any significant medical history?

Recovery after spinal decompression surgery
Barring complications (rare), there should be no problem getting back to cooking and normal household stuff within a few days at most. It was immediate in my case, I even stopped off and did grocery shoppipng on way home from hospital. Just no bending far over or sharp twisting and no heavy lifting for a while. Sounds like you could ask the security guard to help carry in heavy groceries & the like. Fenestration means removal of part of herniated disk. He will also remove any bone spurs and might thin out thickened ligaments. This is all done through tiny excision using specialized tools. Surgeon skill & experience is everything. You have the very best. . In the West this is sometimes done as an outpatient day surgery. One tip: keep opiate pain med use to minimum required as it definitely prolongs recovery period otherwise (not to mention, constipates). It is unavoidable immediately post op but I was able to tell them to take it down in less than 24 hours. Paracetemol usually suffices at home, if not then just keep the other to minimum e.g. once at bedtime if you can. Wooziness from pain meds does more to limit activities than the effects of the surgery per se. By the way you can email directly to BNH Spine center at <[email protected]>. If appropriate put "Question for Prof. Wicharn" in the subject line. Sign with full name and hospital number. They are usually pretty prompt in replying.

Recovery after spinal decompression surgery
What he is having done is quite different from a laminectomy. He will be up walking before he leaves the hospital and there will be no restriction on walking afterwards, in fact much encouraged.
