  1. Yamaha: Cheaper, reliable, better fuel economy

Vespa: Cool factor, better suspension up front, and in my opinion, better handling.

Yamaha also seems to have a higher top speed, although the torque on the Vespa may be better.

Honestly, if you have the money, and the "cool factor" is important, get the Vespa. I have a couple of friends who went for the Japanese alternatives, only to have buyers remorse later, because a Yamaha will never be as cool as a Vespa.

  2. There are a couple of possible outcomes from this fear. Firstly, they could delay opening the boarders. Secondly, once the boarders are open the suspicion and fear translate to irrational behaviours that damage the Thailand experience of those who come to visit. The Government needs to be very careful how they deal with this.. A concerted education of the populace would be a good place to start. The long-term economic effects could be more catastrophic than they already are.

How are the Australian government beholden to Murdoch and Co ?

It has far more reach than that organization, plus other countries have said they are considering similar legislation.

You obviously think Facebook should get news content for free, I pay for my online Australian Newspaper.

News shared in Facebook links directly to the providers website. There it can either be free (ad supported), or behind a limited/complete paywall. Whether you get there directly, or via Facebook, makes no difference. In fact one can argue that Facebook leads to more traffic to a news site, not less.

Do any of the Thai airlines allow you to bring a motorcycle helmet into the cabin along with a small laptop bag?

I'm travelling to Koh Phangan and am assuming that I won't be able to acquire a proper helmet on the island? So my plan is to purchase one in Bangkok and fly with it.

    Yes, have done it before.

I probably risk the wrath of any coffee connoiseurs, however, I must say I recently tried a 25 baht hot latte from the local 7 eleven coffee station and was very pleasantly surprised. Quality coffee, tasted good and was hot! And all for 25 baht!!! Taste wise it equaled anything I have had at amazon, starbucks or any of the other coffee shops. Has anyone else had a similar experience or am I just showing my lack of appreciation for the finer things in life!?

I was forced to try it due to being in the middle of nowhere without any shops of any kind, except, of course, for a 7/11. I have to agree that it was actually pretty good by local standards. I'd say better than Amazon for sure, but not quite as good as Starbucks (which I am not a massive fan of), but then it's a 1/3 of the price.

I would guess that the world health organization would distribute the limited supply of vaccine to the countries that need it the most.
With the Thailand government reporting incredibly low number of people being infected, they might be on the bottom of the list to receive the limited supply of vaccine available to the world.Reporting very low number of infected people may backfire in being put on a priority list to receive unlimited supply of vaccine

New Zealand is rolling out it's vaccination program in April. If the Thai Gov are having issues, they are, as usual, of it's own making, and, as usual, the entire country will suffer because of them.
