I can get a breeze going through mine, so windows open is much cooler. Given current pollution levels though, it's doors and windows closed, with air purifiers and fans or aircon on.

Yesterday he posts his latest, check it out. On Friday a lot of calls will be realized so the stock could go even higher!
There are quite a few posts on WSB saying that Friday is not the day these calls will be realised, and that this is misinformation from the Hedge Funds in an attempt to get the individual consumer day traders to sell. The WSB Mods and are others are all calling "hold", don't sell until they say to sell. While I am not 100% as to the accuracy of this information, it does highlight the (mis)information battle that is going on. These Hedge Funds who prey on vulnerable companies to make their fortunes are for once getting beaten at their own game, and are trying every trick in the book, dirty or otherwise, to stop it happening.
Amongst other things, the WSB consumer traders have been called Alt-Right, Trumpists, they've been accused of manipulation and illegal trading. None of which is true. A group of individuals publicly sharing advice on what do buy and sell is totally legal. By contrast, Hedge Fund groups meeting behind closed doors to secretly manipulate and gain unfair advantage arguably is (but difficult to prove without the damning evidence).
So I say 'good'. I hope WSB is able to cause enough disruption that it stops these behemoths bottom feeds to reconsider their tactics. Even better would be stronger regulations to reign them in.

Yes well aware of that which is why I was asking for a comparison between the Forester and the new mu-x, not between this year's and last year's mu-x
There is no Onyx with the new model. It was a limited edition version. The new version of the MU-X looks lovely, it is still however a truck (body on frame) and not a car.

How does the Forester compare with the news Isuzu Mux Onyx...Anyone with any views? Also what is the price of the Forester?
The MU-X Onyx is is the outgoing model, based on the previous D-Max. There is a brand new MU-X appearing on the market right now.
They are very different vehicles. One is a modified diesel truck based on the D-Max, the other is a passenger car.
The Forester pricing details can be found here:

I recently got a Forester, and quite like it - roomy and comfortable in the front and back, good visibility through the large windows, and some nice safety features. To me, the Cross feels more cramped, but as you say, it would be great to have a hybrid, and the Forester doesn't have a hybrid option.
The Forester is more comparable to a CX-5 of CRV than to the Corolla Cross, and in that regards offers excellent value in Thailand.
For space, safety, and actual 4wd capabilities, the Forester can not be beaten in Thailand. For a Hybrid small family car mainly used in the city, the Corolla Cross is a good choice. For singles/couples who don't need quite as much space, but value a touch of luxury inside and ever so slight sporty feel (the only one without CVT too), go with the Mazda CX-30.
It is worth noting that the claimed weight of the Hybrid Cross is only 60kg more than the non-hybrid variant, at 1,380kg.... which is also similar in weight to the CX-30. The 90kw combined hybrid engine is a lot less powerful than the Mazda's however, which explains the sluggishness when over-taking.

People get themselves commercially inked with tattoos taken from "indigenous" cultures all over the world. Whether you think this is appropriation or something else, it's not going to change this. People get tattoos for many reasons, some of which will just be to look cool or show off... although they will probably not admit as much. The way I see it, there is not much point in worrying about something you will not change, it will just do you more harm than good.

It's actually quite a funny clip. Not because of Ryan Reynolds, whose humour is like nails in a blackboard, but Betty..... she's hilarious.

The days where you could sell a dream are, with a few exceptions worldwide, gone. We live in a much more interconnected world. One here people can and want to create their own dreams. This is peak social media. That some government officials think that they have the skill to deliver the fantasy, the dream, no way. They are still living in the early 2,000's.

300 Baht charged to tourists. Deduct 290 baht 'administration fee', and then the remainder will cover all those pesky uninsured tourists who are bankrupting the country.

Business was bad, but many were in survival mode until some government officials allowed migrant workers to cross the borders in exchange for bribes. With the current closure most hotels and restaurants are now without any income and the gov isn't interested in helping out in any way at all. Wanting to build bridges, buy submarines and so much more things Thailand DOES NOT NEED NOW for billions of dollars... while claiming there is not enough money to help the people.
In the meantime these same officials and politicians get paid as usual and find more rules and regulation to squeeze out more money from normal citizen.
Hey Hey Hey! It's not only the Government Officials who allowed the migrant workers in who are responsible. You are also forgetting the Government Officials who allow gambling to take place, and the Government Officials who turn a blind eye to prostitution. Credit where credit is due, please.

Was in Mae Sot over New Year. Almost no tourists, restaurants and shops closed down like in other parts of the country. At the new bridge they built recently, there was a huge line of trucks (easily over a kilometre long) waiting to cross the border however. Not sure how this was managed. Did they change drivers or even trucks when moving goods from one side to the other? The queue suggested that there was at least a Covid related management process in place causing the congestion.

Small issue. He admittedly it was a mistake and apologised. It's not like he is one of the anti-mask nuts who go around tormenting service and retail workers. Move on.

I am not an anti-vaxxer. I'm fine taking the essential shots for example, but think an annual Flu shot ay my age and fitness level is unnecessary. This 50% efficacy thing from China is something else however. First it was ~90%, now they are saying 50%. So how we can we be sure that's even right? If things turn for the worse, there will be zero accountability, of that we can be sure.
I'm not a fan of big-pharma, but, yeah, nah, I'll be waiting for the UK/German one thanks. By far the lesser of the potential 2 evils here.

The Aussie and Kiwi review sites (which absolutely love their utes) are putting the new Isuzu and Mazda at the top of the rankings. They are the same platform and identical in many ways. Mazda has a more plush interior, Isuzu is a bit more rought and tumble. Comes down to personal preference. Most seem to agree these two look the best, both inside and out.
Ford wins with the best on road handling still. Which is quite impressive considering it's age, and it's weight (it's easily the heaviest at 2.2k kgs). This is in contrast to the new Toyota, which is the most skittery and least refined to drive on a regular road with an unladen tray.
The reasons to buy the Mitsubishi are price, and turning circle. You save a fully metre when doing a u-turn, which could be big plus on Thai roads. Otherwise you are better looking at the other trucks above.
Nissan doesn't get a look in because while the new exterior upgrades are very attractive, the interior is perhaps the oldest looking of the lot, Thailand only has the old 2.3l engine variant, and because of tax restrictions, you can get the rear spring version here (which was the one that handles really well).

By clarified, he means made a complete u-turn, as is the norm for many of ill conceived policies and ideas that spew forth from the corrupt and incompetent.

The nature of my job means that I may need to be available for calls outside of regular office hours. In exchange for this, I am afforded a degree of flexibility with regards to my working day. Working for a company that recognises those who are flexible or put in a little bit extra is a win-win for both employee and employer. If you are not afforded this kind of respect, then you should look at what needs to be changed to get it.

How to value an old bike.
in Motorcycles in Thailand

Might I suggest you go to http://mocyc.com/market.html . This is the largest 2nd hand motorcycle site in Thailand. You'll be able to compare your bike to others to get an idea of it's value, and also find a buyer if you choose to list it there.
