Do you get money back from those 600 ml glass beer bottles ?
Crossy replied to FlorC's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Dunno about the beer bottles (I like cans**) but Madam definitely gets a few $$$ back on the naam-soda bottles she buys by the crate from the ice-man. ** Cans (and cardboard) of course get recycled by family members. Family restaurant is still recycling the used cooking oil, there's a reason the exhaust from the local farmer's iron-buffalo smells of fried-fish -
PEA and Solar how low can you go?
Crossy replied to MJCM's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Nah, my Google Lens (or more likely my brain) is fogged ???? -
If you've not had a tetanus jab for a while it's got to be good insurance.

Hmmmm, if I'm reading it right looks like you also got the "old" FT discount like @MJCMreported. I wonder if there was a policy change that nobody has heard about? And what is the -46.28 "FT" discount, it mentions EDIT May January 2023? Backdated "correction" from when the full FT was charged last month perhaps? -
Yup, I've been there too ???? If it says Local and Delivery by Seller = Drop-ship from China. I avoid unless not otherwise available.

Many modern shower units have them built-in (they might be called RCCB or ELCB, same thing) there should be a "Test" button. Otherwise look at the breaker which feeds the heater or your incoming main breaker.
-
The easy way to tell an RCD/RCBO is the presence of a "Test" button, no button = no RCD/RCBO.

Oddly enough, the first recorded death by electrocution of a Royal Navy sailor was by a 48V DC supply. Apparently, he became trapped against a bus-bar, couldn't escape and basically "cooked" slowly ???? -
I am a dedicated wet shaver, but my friend Victor has a recommendation (and you can get the products on Lazada).

If I don't have a reentry permit ...
Crossy replied to Chicksaw's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If your memory is anything like mine then the investment of a single re-entry permit when you renew your extension is $$$ well spent. Of course, if you then make a second trip ... -
We are hoping (I know, I know), that the fact that "Nobody Knows" (QI fans will understand) will remove the satisfaction factor and actually reduce reaction trolling. We shall see. The toys can be removed just as easily as they were reinstated.
-
If you do suspect you are the victim of a "reaction-troll" you can still report such posts, remember the all-seeing oracle knows who reacted what ????
-
Sorry, it was me, I couldn't resist. But yes, it was, along with ha-ha. We shall see how it works out.

I must make sure that "Somebody" isn't an allowable username ????

Note for above post - HaHa reaction placed just because I can!!!!

new 25 X 455w installation in CM by contractor

It certainly looks like a decent install, shame they lost the earth braid for the door of the ATS cabinet** ** Sorry, it's part of my job to notice things like this, with public-facing systems everything has to be 120% (yes, even here). -

I imagine it's along the lines of the EV pack warranties, 90% (or whatever) capacity after 10 years. -

Your arc welder works at 50-60V and 100A or so. It's pretty bright and hot. It's also current limited and easy to disconnect. Imagine an arc capable of a few kA at 400V with no current limit and no means of disconnection! That will blind, cause severe burns and even kill unless the correct PPE is in use.
