  1. OK, did your man connect the blue tail to one of the neutral bars? Also, did he move one of the blue neutral wires (the one that feeds the bar area) to the N terminal of the RCBO? Also, that's a 32A RCBO. For outlets and a few lights 20A would be adequate, I wonder if that's why your man wanted to use 4mm2?
  2. The land office are usually pretty strict on seeing that the $$$ has been paid before they will finalise the transfer. Madam is pretty old-fashioned and likes to see the folding stuff, the land office don't like counting it and are rather happier with a bank-cheque (tax etc paid in cash).
  3. I probably missed this in the news, but I assume (dangerous I know) that the new rules are for cash deposits only.
  4. Nice looking bar are, super view ???? Do you have a photo of the RCBO that was tried? You also need to know which of the neutral wires goes to the bar area. As @sometimewoodworkernoted, I bet the problem with the RCBO was a borrowed/shared neutral. Your man will need to identify which other circuit is sharing the neutral. I do also note that you have no other earth-leakage protection anywhere, I'd be looking at protecting any outside lighting/outlets and your water heaters before worrying about the freezer..
  5. My reason for using 1.5mm on lighting (10A breaker) is purely for mechanical strength, 1mm is a little too easy to break.
  6. Please can you post a photo of what's been installed in your box showing the connections?
  7. I suggest another new sparks! If there is moisture - dry it out (and ensure it stays dry). Lightning surges MAY trip an RCBO, but modern ones are much less likely to. Thunder tends to upset pets but not electrical supply. Just how big is this freezer to need a 30A cable?
  8. I'm not sure about using it as a VPN replacement, from https://geti2p.net/en/about/intro
  9. Sorry, but if that landed on my desk at work it would go straight back with a "Cat-A" (Rejected) classification. It contains no useful information (even the actual detail of the supply to be provided is nonsense). Are there drawings / plans to go with it which might justify the absence of quantities on the BOM? (Quantities should still be detailed but some people are lazy) At least one item appears twice! It was of course, produced to placate the farang who "think too mutt". Teacher's comment - 3/10 Must try harder.
  10. Since this is an antique thread let's close it, if you really need to know start a new one!
  11. There is already one (maybe two now) research reactor operating in Thailand (it's been humming along for 60 years or so) ???? I still reckon they should concentrate on solar and storage technology. Quicker and cheaper.
  12. Letting everyone else know where would be really handy ????
  13. I have a story about HK Airport (Chek Lap Kok) and datum points This is what our man did (photos in the post itself): and here
  14. These are jujubes! I have very happy memories of them! ???? (You got more in a 1/4 lb than you did jelly-babies [even if you got all boys]).
  15. The mozzie screen made from very fine metal wire is pretty good at letting air through. You have to close up every hole, jinjok can get through amazingly tight spaces.
  16. I bet that's not in writing anywhere ????
  17. Can snakes "mosey"? I thought they did more of a "sashay".
  18. Obviously being more patient when counting disc revs would yield a more accurate result ????
  19. Dad used to be glued to League, with the late, great Eddie (and 'ere we are at Wigan) Waring. Followed by the wrestling with Kent Walton.
