If it's a new installation it should be TNC-S so the 3 pole unit should be good to go ????

We are actually TNC-S but the run out to the solar is quite long and the solar is actually a TT island hence the 2-pole arrestors.

If your supply is TNC-S with a neutral-earth link in your box then there's no need (Just L-E x 3), if you are TT then a device N-E is advisable.

I'd seriously consider the Growatt SPF 5000 ES, two, maybe three of them in order to meet house peak load. Going from what we use from PEA and what our current system generates then - Panels around 12kWP and 25kWh of storage.

Generally the biggest capacity (kA) available that will fit and you can afford, the breaker size doesn't make any difference. I'm assuming you will be using Schneider plug-in arrestors. If you intend putting your arrestors in external DIN boxes please let us know.

Go and buy a new one and a roll of PTFE tape. You don't even need tools, turn off the water and use the handle as a lever to unscrew the old, wrap plenty of tape on the threads of the new, and screw on the new again using the handle. Note, it is totally guaranteed that the new one will be tight when the outlet is pointing vertically upwards.

I would certainly talk to a Thai accountant who is knowledgeable in international tax law before actually paying any Thai tax, particularly if you're not actually working here. If I understand correctly overseas income is only taxable if it is imported in the year it's earned, so spend "last years" money ???? (it's likely not that simple, hence talk to an accountant) There's no point in paying more tax than absolutely necessary. For many years I was employed by a Hong Kong company, paid in USD out of HK into my Jersey bank account. I dutifully filled out my HK tax return every year, but because I wasn't actually resident in HK tax payable was zero ???? Of course since I was "paying" tax in HK nobody else was interested in taxing my income ???? Sadly that route became impassable due to more and more company income being derived within Thailand, so now I'm in the Thai 40% tax bracket ???? It was good whilst it lasted.

By the way, you don't need rooms full (or even any) of batteries now, this chap is a 19" rack and can hold 30kWh of energy.
